Purpose and Scope

• To manage a Water / Wastewater treatment plant operation in meeting performance targets of reliability and availability complying fully with SOPs, GHSSE and all relevant regulatory requirements
• Liaise with customer working team to ensure off-spec influent is managed effectively

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• In charge of the Water / Wastewater treatment plant by monitoring process parameters, managing plant logistics and working with maintenance to ensure plant equipment is maintained to assure reliability

• Perform construction-all-risk (CAR) reviews of new builder risk projects by reviewing, interpreting, and summarizing third party technical risk information.
• Provide global risk selection guidance to Underwriters to support profitable underwriting for Construction (CAR) accounts.
• Manage the survey programs of Construction clients, including service plan development & report reviews.
• Complete internal and market report writing in an accurate and timely fashion using AIG report formats, loss estimation methods & software, and AIG risk rating tools.
• Where necessary, define testing and commissioning reporting requirements to demonstrate readiness for transfer from construction to operational insurance cover
• Conduct on-site project reviews and develop market reports
• Conduct client service meetings with underwriting, broker and client
• Identify risk improvements opportunities for projects and work with the client to prioritize and implement them
• Estimate of the cost of engineering services
• Analyze the loss prevention attributes of a project including:Reviewing methods of construction
  Review management best practices inclusive of water mitigation, security, ignition source control, etc.
  Identify occupancy hazards and assess the adequacy of their protection features
  Identify and assess the impact of external exposures on a facility
  Determine fire and natural catastrophe loss estimates for a facility
  

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum five (5) years’ experience in the Construction industry and/or construction Insurance Industry
• Professional Engineer Designation (desired but not required)
• Knowledge of various occupancies and the ability to safely work in a variety of occupationally hazardous locations
• Extensive experience in design, construction, commissioning, and operations of civil construction projects.
• Strong communicator (both oral and written)
• Highly motivated and works well without close supervision.
• Ability to make decisions with and without established guidelines and to provide technical support to internal and external business partners

• Ability to perform inspections of buildings and other structures, both visually and with instruments

Purpose and Scope

• To manage a Water / Wastewater treatment plant operation in meeting performance targets of reliability and availability complying fully with SOPs, GHSSE and all relevant regulatory requirements
• Liaise with customer working team to ensure off-spec influent is managed effectively

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• In charge of the Water / Wastewater treatment plant by monitoring process parameters, managing plant logistics and working with maintenance to ensure plant equipment is maintained to assure reliability
• Water and wastewater treatment plant optimization
• Supervise a team of technicians to ensure effective performance of the plant
• Review and implement SOPs, shift reports, and plant operating performance
• Enforce safety in the Water / Wastewater plant by ensuring safety equipment are inspected regularly by the shift technicians, and all jobs have been carried out in accordance with GHSSE and regulatory requirement.
• Support overseas plant operation troubleshooting and commissioning.
• Support Plant Manager in developing and implementing AOP for customers.
• Successful candidate can be appointed as part of the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) (training will be provided)
