Job Description

The Data Governance Lead will be responsible to establish, implement and operationalize data governance in NUS.

• Develop and maintain data governance policies, standards and processes
• Provide oversight and advisory to business and IT in the operationalisation of data governance
• Partner with data governance representatives from other departments to ensure compliance with data privacy, security and regulatory requirements
• Promote and lead data governance awareness and educational campaigns with different levels of stakeholders
• Lead master data governance initiatives, and facilitate the necessary change management for implementation across IT systems

Qualifications

• Knowledge of PDPA and/or GDPR and data protection techniques such as PII data anonymization
• Experience with managing multiple data governance implementation using data governance tools
• Solid SQL and data profiling skills
• Good knowledge of big data, data warehousing and/or analytics
• Strong change management skills and/or experience in managing digital transformation initiatives
• Excellent oral, written and communication skills with the ability to manage different levels of stakeholders effectively

Origin Operations capabilities are a key enabler of Nike’s Digital First Supply Chain (DFSC). As Nike’s Origin Operations and Strategy, you’ll work closely with Geography and Functional partners to develop and deploy Nike’s Origin Operations strategies across all modes enabling our Wholesale, Retail, and E-Commerce businesses.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a Director, Regional Logistics Operations Global who together with the Director of First Mile Transportation Strategy, will play a critical role in developing Nike’s Key City Offenses and unlocking a Nike-Connected Marketplace worldwide. You will leverage your expertise and foster collaboration across Nike Geography and Functional teams and drive business value for Nike, our Customers, and our Consumers by ensuring differentiated capabilities and high levels of service in concert with rigorous performance management and Sustainability focus with our service providers. You will also be responsible for helping to develop and maintain deep global subject matter expertise for Origin Consolidations LSPs, capabilities, and carriers.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

In this role, you will support the development of the Origin Operations global strategy and curate the evolution of Nike’s Origin Consolidation network in close partnership with Geography Logistics teams and Functional partners. You will also manage tasks to advance Nike’s Origin Operations Network – the internal network of transportation leaders and SMEs worldwide. Leverage the Network to align strategic roadmaps, transfer best practices, and drive global process standardization.

You will be expected to manage performance management metrics across Nike geographies and Nike’s portfolio of service providers, deploy a common set of KPIs across the Nike geographies and leveraging analytical data insights to drive cost, service, and quality improvement opportunities.

Finally, you will drive sustainability and lean thinking in the Origin Consolidation space and advocate it across Nike’s global supply chain while establishing Sustainability as a priority with our service providers and helping facilitate their Sustainability journey.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will also partner with Global Procurement, Geography Transportation leaders, and cross-functional team members to develop, source, and deploy best-in-class, innovative service providers while ensuring service providers comply with Nike’s requirements and standards. In addition, you will also be partnering with Global Procurement and Geographies to develop and deploy new Origin Consolidation capabilities, service offerings, technologies, business continuity/risk mitigation strategies and service providers around the world.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Bachelor’s degree in business, international logistics, supply chain management, a technical discipline, or a related field is preferred with an additional 2 years of experience in lieu of a required degree. MBA preferred.
• 8+ years’ experience within Consolidation operations for a large multinational company, working in the Transportation industry or leading the Origin Consolidation function. Recent experience with retail fulfillment, e-commerce, and/or omni-channel fulfillment is strongly desired.
• Strong end-to-end supply chain knowledge and overall business acumen.
• Experience working within a cross-functional and virtual team (including globally/culturally diverse teams) with a proven record of delivering results in high-pressure or high-profile assignments. Able to work comfortably up, down and across a highly-matrixed organization to effectively drive change and deliver results the right way.
• Experience developing and deploying consolidation strategies resulting in cost, service, quality, and sustainability improvements.
• Recent experience and current knowledge of Transportation systems, capabilities, and technology platforms (real-time visibility, TMS (Transportation Management Systems), carrier integration platforms, etc.)
• Demonstrated subject matter expertise in global transportation markets, service providers, and best practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively and comfortably at multiple levels in the organization.
