Job Purpose

The IT Advisory Director/Senior Manager is responsible for managing and providing IT advisory services to a portfolio of international and local clients.

Responsibilities

1. Able to lead and manage IT audit portfolio including risk assessment, regulatory compliance assessment and IT internal controls evaluation.

Your new role

Key Duties:

• Analysing technical and cost data from clients to develop robust and efficient R&D claim methodologies
• Lead the interview process with technical experts to understand their R&D activity, summarising output from these interviews in documentation format
• Leading technical aspects of the R&D claim preparation process within a project
• Preparing clear reports for submission to HMRC.

The successful R&D professional will have a degree in Engineering or Science with post-grad experience of working in an engineering, manufacturing or scientific role. The Program Clinical Supplies Project Manager (Program CSPM) serves as the primary program-level GCS point of contact representing the GCS Planning organization to customers both internal and external to GCS and serves as the lead GCS spokesperson at clinical and development related meetings.  Working independently, the Program CSPM designs strategic and operational plans for all clinical supply activities associated with the clinical studies in their assigned compound(s)/ program(s). The incumbent is expected to have an understanding of the concepts of drug development, clinical research, and/or clinical supply chain, as well as, interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to negotiate with key stakeholder groups and drive/influence results in a dynamic environment.

Primary activities include, but are not limited to:

General Activities:

• Interacts closely with key partner organizations (as a lead GCS Planning program representative) such as clinical development, regulatory, quality and other supply chain areas to negotiate timelines,  strategies and other related topics for all clinical supplies across all assigned program(s).

• Responsible and accountable for establishing the timelines for bulk manufacturing needs and release of drug product across assigned program(s).

• Works directly in the SAP system to establish a consolidated, visible forecast for all products used within the assigned program(s) (i.e. Bulk Drug Product).

• Oversees all bulk drug supply management and ensures proper allocation of drug product as needed across studies within assigned program(s).

• Responsible for identifying significant supply risks associated with clinical bulk activities in addition to serving in a lead role for clinical supply issue escalation within their program(s) (and subsequent manage thereof) to GCS Leadership.

• Responsible for the clinical supply budget for respective program(s) and for supporting all protocol and program cost estimates requested by Product Development Teams.

• Responsible for authoring clinical supply documentation in support of labeling and packaging activities as well as supply chain documentation to support critical CMC activities.

• Support the collection of clinical supply chain metrics and/or participate in critical non-pipeline activities as a subject matter expert in a particular area of expertise.

• Mentors new team members and supports staff development, as needed

Required Experience and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, business, or related discipline required, MS/MBA preferred.

• At least 6 years of experience in project management.

• At least 3 years of experience in planning, scheduling, coordination and processing of supply chain activities, or the equivalent.

• Understanding of the concepts of material requirements planning (MRP) systems and demand planning principles

• Strong organizational, time management and problem solving skills

• Exceptional  written and verbal communication and relationship skills along with high personal integrity, credibility, and energy.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and initiatives appropriately to mitigate supply risks.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Experience with change management and leading process improvement initiatives.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Strong knowledge of the principles of project management and clinical customer relationship management.

1. Global Study Manager III (Director)

Global Study Managers provide operational leadership throughout the study lifecycle, with accountability for oversight and execution of study management, site management, pCRO and vendor deliverables for all Study Management deliverables in a study.

The Global Study Manager has exceptional knowledge within the organization for Study Management processes and deliverables. Additionally, the Global Study Manager will maintain expertise within their assigned Therapeutic Area and study in order to set the appropriate strategy, identify risks and to drive operational deliverables. The Global Study Manager will have good knowledge in understanding the responsibilities beyond their function in order to ensure goals are met for the study.

Leads engagement and coordination of appropriate key partners

• The Global Study Manager leads and coordinates the execution of a clinical trial globally from Sourcing Strategy and Study Specification development for Requests for Proposals for fully outsourced studies and ancillary vendors, Study start-up through Database release and inspection readiness to ensure timely delivery of quality study data. Global Study Managers may also provide input to and support the compilation of sections to Clinical Study Reports as needed.
• The Global Study Manager at this level develops ideas and can lead some complex projects.
• The Global Study Manager provides quality oversight and coordination of regional/country operations and pCRO for the tasks both owned by and delegated to Study Operational Managers (if assigned to study) related to study execution.

• Leads and oversees all elements of study startup and monitoring functions to ensure delivery & compliance with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Quality Standards, interfacing directly with CRO Feasibility / Study Startup, Monitoring / Management & Site Contracting Groups
• Works proactively with data management functions and GSSO colleagues to ensure alignment on data flow and timely delivery. Regular review of data reports and dashboards to identify risks and drive appropriate actions.
• Shares and escalates plan deviations to Clinical Study Team Lead (and study team) and drives/oversees mitigations
• Review vendor expenses and WO as per study budget for assigned vendors (e.g., central labs, ePRO, radiology, pCRO etc.).
• Provides ongoing assessment of subject enrollment/discontinuations to inform accurate forecasting for financial planning
• Provides operational input into protocol design
• Leads Protocol Deviation trend review partnering with Clinical

Subject Matter Expertise

• The Global Study Manager will be the technical expert for study management systems and processes

• The Global Study Manager will champion the implementation and use of harmonized, consistent processes, and excellence in Study Management deliverables related to cost-effective, timely, and high-quality clinical trial data according to agreed global goals.
• The Global Study Manager will be responsible for the technical oversight of the operational sub team to include but is not limited to standards, continuous improvement, issue escalation/resolution, inspection readiness/quality assurance, performance feedback, review of metrics.
• The Global Study Manager partners with the operational sub team and pCRO to proactively identify and resolve study operations staff performance issues.
• For project-specific audits and inspections, the Global Study Manager can serve as a resource to the study team in addition to the Study Operational Manager(s), if assigned, to facilitate the audit/inspection.

Training and Education

• Working knowledge of Good Clinical Practices, monitoring, clinical and regulatory operations
• A scientific or technical degree is preferred along with extensive knowledge of clinical trial methodology
• BA/BS 7+ years of relevant experience
• MBA/MS/ 6+ years of relevant experience English is required.

Prior Experience

• Demonstrated clinical research experience and/or study management experience
• Demonstrated study management/leadership experience
• Demonstrated oversight of CROs/vendors
• Demonstrated experience in managing per subject costs, vendor & ancillary, and monitoring costs projections & spend

The Policy and Strategy Development Division is part of the Policy, Research and Surveillance Group in the Health Promotion Board.  The Division’s mission is formulating public health policies and strategies, as HPB progresses beyond promotional approaches to employ regulatory and policy levers to modify health behaviours.  Areas of focus include obesity control (food and physical activity), substance abuse (tobacco and alcohol), as well as emerging areas of public health concerns.

Key responsibilities include:

• Review and analyse public health findings in the area of diet and nutrition, as well as  market data from a wide range of sources, and develop evidence-based policies and strategies that address public health gaps in the general and targeted populations.
• Keep abreast of prepacked food products’ labelling and claims (health, nutrient and functional) matters locally and across major jurisdictions; and be able to identify and collate claims that will useful for spurring product innovation and serve public health goals.
• Conduct literature reviews where needed, surveys, and analysing data to gain insights into the area of claims and consumers’ perception. ,
• Consult actively with government agencies, companies and experts, to address key stake holders and their concerns, with the objective of achieving successful and sustainable policy and implementation. For e.g. Ability to independently coordinate meetings across relevant stakeholders to seek views and consensus, and provide reports and updates to management.
• Provide guidance and technical support in alignment with HPB’s nutrition policies and strategies
• Monitor and evaluate policies and strategies to assess impact and review approaches, where necessary, to collaborate with relevant stakeholders e.g. academic institutions and government agencies
• Facilitate collaborations and foster  strategic alliances, both local and international, to support policy advocacy and lead conversations on emerging public health issues.

Requirements

• Qualifications in life sciences, nutrition science,  health promotion or any other relevant disciplines.
• At least 5years of experience in developmental, planning  and secretariat roles, preferably with public policy experience.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to identify, define and propose policy solutions for national preventive health problems focused on diet and nutrition
• Highly proficient in using MS Excel and other analytical tools
• Strong analytical abilities to synthesize information, build strong narrative, and distil ideas and concepts into concrete plans.

Manager / Assistant Director, Buildings & Facilities Management Projects (Development & Estate Department) [NIE]

Assist Head of the Development & Estate Department in the facility planning, facility development, renovation and upgrading of campus buildings and facilities and improvement/ addition & alteration (A&A) works. He/ she will also assist in operation, maintenance (facilities management) of campus buildings, infrastructures, and facilities.

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for overseeing project completion within the allocated budget and ensuring the realization of design intents.

· Conduct thorough assessment to determine the user's requirements for the project, encompassing their needs, preferences, desired timeline for completion, and the available funding sources.

· Appoint and oversee a team of consultants to guide the project design process, including architects, engineers, and other professionals as required.

· Engage consultants to develop cost estimates and prepare necessary documentation for tender procurement.

· Manage the procurement process by soliciting and evaluating contractor bids, ultimately providing a recommendation for the contract award.

· Manage and process any changes to the project's scope or budget that may arise during construction.

· Monitor the progress of construction work on a regular basis to ensure the project stays on schedule and proactively identify any potential issues that may arise.

· Ensure that all safety regulatory requirements and guidelines are adhered to and are in accordance with the proper governing authorities including the safety regulators and government laws in executing the projects.

Requirements:

· A University degree in architecture / building / civil and structural engineering / project management with at least 10 years of relevant working experience in construction management, project management, facilities management / real estate development or equivalent.

· Adequate knowledge in building construction and proficiency in reading construction drawings.

· Good project management skills, including expertise in project planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.

· Strong technical skills for checking and supervising professional consultants and various contractors. Seeks continuous improvement to design and processes through consistently challenging the status quo or value engineering the optimum solutions.

· Proficient in using AutoCAD / REVIT for design purposes.

· Adequate knowledge of procurement and construction contract administration.
