West Lothian College is looking to expand its register of bank Lecturers. Working within the friendly and knowledgeable team within the Business, Creative and Enterprise faculty, you will be committed to the delivery of high-quality teaching and a varied learning experience, focusing on progression and employability.
We are looking for individuals who are able to be flexible on a fixed term ‘as and when’ basis. Core college working hours, which cover may be required during, are Monday to Friday 8:30am–4:30pm. The college is also open for evening classes on a Tuesday and Thursday. We are requesting bank staff with availability to work during these times. Applications are invited to contribute to the delivery and assessment of a range of courses from SCQF Level 4 to Level 9 Business, Accounting, Human Resources and/or Marketing. You will develop course materials for online and face to face learning, work flexibly and collaborate effectively with other members of the college.
Applicants should have a degree or appropriate professional qualification in their specialist field, and sound practical work experience in an appropriate setting. A teaching qualification and lecturing experience within the Business Sector is preferable.
Applicants should demonstrate within their application form that they have experience in aspects of business such as Accounting, Marketing, Human Resources, Law, Economics and ICT (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).

Job Description Summary
The Finance department at Bentley University is seeking applications for the position of Lecturer of Finance, to begin July 1, 2024. We are seeking candidates with experience and expertise in quantitative finance and risk management. We have a strong preference for candidates with the ability to develop and deliver courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels on topics including quantitative portfolio management, investments, financial risk management, financial modeling, and related topics. The ability and willingness to incorporate the use of financial platforms and data from Bentley’s Trading Room into class materials is a strong plus. The expected course load is 8 courses per academic year.
