The Endpoint Engineering Manager is responsible for strategic vison for the design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of end point management services and solutions. The manager will lead a technical team of Desktop and Mobile Engineers focused on improving and securing the employee computing experience at CoStar Group using Intune and JAMF. They will be the technical owner for: endpoint systems management, asset management, remote assistance, desktop OS patching, desktop software packaging and distribution management.
This position is located in Washington, DC and offers a hybrid schedule of 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the Desktop and Mobile Engineering team including providing day to day leadership, coaching, and mentoring, and work closely with the management and staff of the Service Desk team.
- Review and adjust as needed software deployment processes and train technology staff via Intune and JAMF and then audit the success of those processes.
- Oversight of the development, implementation, and deployment of the build process for Windows, macOS and Mobile Devices within Intune and JAMF.
- Oversight of corporate SaaS based printing services.
- Manages system administration of enterprise desktop asset management software tools.
- Responsible for overall software packaging, testing & distribution.
- Responsible for endpoint patching, including all OS patch approval.
- Excellent project management skills including organization, time management, adaptability, and flexibility to deliver exceptional services.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited, not for profit university or college.
- A track record of commitment to prior employers
- Strong interpersonal and cross-departmental communication skills
- 5+ years of experience and strong knowledge of application and OS deployment and maintenance tools (Intune and JAMF) and the ability to design, implement, and maintain these systems
- Strong knowledge of the OSI model
- Experience with ticketing system, preferably Atlassian Jira Service Desk Management
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Significant experience with project management and problem resolution
- Agile project planning
