Line management of the TAFMIS-T system and its operating procedures including integrity of data held in database. This includes but is not limited to:
Acting as the TAFMIS Subject Matter Expert and subject advisor (SA) for DITG.
Act as the DITG focal point for all TAFMIS users and undertake responsibilities regarding implementing changes, improvements and updates to TAFMIS brought about by business/legislative/DPA changes.
Provide a full TAFMIS service to all DITG Satelite Units in accordance with Parenting Statements.
Oversee local service management issues, trouble-shooting and the monitoring of local service usage.
Support the Unit Business Change Lead (TAFMIS MoC).
Ensure that Service Management and other TAFMIS procedures are followed by all DITG users.
Monitoring incidents and other help calls for the site, and advising the authority’s service manager of unresolved problems.
Act as site POC to ARTD TAFMIS Service Management Team, the TAFMIS ITSO and the TAFMIS Project / Requirements Managers in ARTD MIS Branch.
Manage all site Requests for Change (RFC) and Non-Chargeable Requests for Change (NCRFC).
Represent the Unit at TAFMIS Managers briefings.
Providing advice and offering assistance to the TAFMIS MoC Software Team on training management problems and priorities.
Provide management/Execs with all required information and create statistic dashboards as required.
Provision of one to one mentoring and tuition for all users across the estate to ensure correct and timely information is being added as necessary. Although not directly acting as their Line Manager, the TAFMIS Manager will be indirectly responsible for up to ~100 personnel across DITG.
Conduct assurance checks of all DITG competencies to ensure the correct allocations have been awarded upon course completion and relevant workflow notification.
Carry out other taskings as identified by Dir Trg which are linked to the core roll of the TAFMIS Manager.
Undertake learning and development and upskilling as required.
Give support to the Target/DLMC Projects and all future training management information systems.
