Roles & Responsibilities

• Source and liaise with new or current supplier in purchasing operation with submission of costing comparison.
• Ensure purchases are made within project budget and required timeline.
• Cost Reference Update (to ensure Price Database is updated to Market’s standards)
• Attend meeting and communication with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Procure as required by project which includes preparation of specifications, negotiating prices & services, checking samples, placing orders as per project team’s requirement and processing invoices.
• Maintain proper documentation of all Comparison Price Tabulation, Purchase Orders, Invoices & Delivery Orders.
• Keep accurate records of items, costs, deliveries and inventory.
• Analyse proposals and financial reports to determine reasonable prices.
• Negotiate pricing, lead time & contract terms with suppliers.
• Arrange shipments / clearance,
• Check all packing lists, cross-referring to Purchase Orders and drawings to ensure accuracy of material receipt.
• Liaise with Finance Department on Accounts Payable.
• Support QS on Tendering.
• Provide HR support and administration which including recruitment, staffing, performance management and compensation & benefits, etc.
• Other Ad-hoc Duties assigned.
