Red Shield Industries (RSI) is the social enterprise arm of The Salvation Army. By re-using, recycling, and restoring donations in kind from the public and corporations, it generates income through its Family Stores to support our mission to provide holistic care to the community.
RSI also strives to assist humanitarian needs in times of crisis and emergency, leveraging its logistics network to deliver aid to crisis areas in the region quickly and efficiently.
Working closely with local and international organizations, RSI engages them in meaningful programs for their corporate social responsibility initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that all electrical and electronic equipment, wiring installation, appliances, and peripherals are tested functionally to be in pristine working condition.
- Ensure that all bulky, furniture, electrical and electronic donated items received are accounted for in accordance to the Collection Note/Service Note and properly handled and placed in respective inbound holding area.
- Ensure all incoming items are inventoried and keyed into the inventory system.
- Price all items at a reasonably and practically marketable and retail-able rate.
- Clean all donated items to retail-able condition before sending to retail stores.
- Ensure that all items prior to delivery are properly packed, labeled and accompanied with correct documentation before distribution to the various stores.
- Maintain proper documentation and reports with regular update.
- Undertake any projects and specific duties as assigned by Management from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS
Attended secondary education
Job Requirements
- Posses knowledge in troubleshooting electrical and electronic items.
- Possess basic computer knowledge.
- Able to perform refurbishing work on the donated electronic items and furniture to retail-able condition.
- Able to conduct market survey on second hand items price.

Working Hours
5.5 days / 44 hours per week
Mondays to Sundays (including Public Holiday)
8.30am to 6.00pm
* 1 Rest Day per week will be rostered
