The Company
An outstanding opportunity awaits to join a renowned organization with a primary focus on real estate, boasting a substantial Asset Under Management (AUM) spread across its Public & Private markets portfolios. The next 4-5 years will see accelerated growth planned across all business lines, with a significant increase in AUM driven by the introduction of new Funds and ongoing investments on the balance sheet. Consequently, the company is now looking to appoint an Assistant Finance Manager to join their Consolidation team.
The Position
The Assistant Finance Manager, reporting to the Finance Director, will oversee the consolidation and preparation of financial and management reports for the group. Key responsibilities include preparing segment reports, forecasts/budgets, centralized cost reports, and consolidating forecasts and budgets. Furthermore, the role will involve assisting in the preparation of the Group's SGX results announcements and contributing to the implementation of the new Group Financial Reporting System. In addition, the Assistant Finance Manager will collaborate with group auditors for audits, work closely with the accounts and operations team for entity-level submissions, and manage other reporting tasks as required.
The Person
Prospective candidates should possess an Accountancy Degree and have accumulated at least 3 to 4 years of experience working in a Big 4 audit firm and/or the real estate industry. To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels, displays a positive attitude and a keen learner.
