Job Description & Summary
Oversee all accounting, finance and reporting activities, ensuring compliance with appropriate accounting standard and regulatory requirements.
Overview of daily financial accounting operations including AR, AP, GL and reconciliations.
Confirms financial status by monitoring revenue, expenses, coordinating the collection, consolidation and evaluation of financial data.
Checking, verify & approve supporting documents/invoices for bank payments
Prepare monthly commentary report explaining significant variances to Directors.
Meets accounting financial objectives by forecasting requirements, scheduling expenditure and analysing variance.
To assist in e-invoicing implementation.
To liaise with all stakeholders such as internal departments, related companies, bankers, auditors, tax agents, relevant authorities etc on all accounting matters.
To assist in annual audit and stock take process.
To coordinate and review accounting, reporting, pricing, costing, budgeting and forecasting exercises.
To prepare consolidated financial reports.
Ensure that internal controls are in place & adhered to.
Undertake business income tax calculation.
Responsibilities
Minimum Degree in Accountancy, partial/ professionally qualified in Accounting qualifications (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ICAEW) or equivalent.
At least 10 years of working experience.
To have strong theoretical and financial reporting standards.
Experience in Manufacturing & Plantation industries would be an added advantage.
Highly committed and able to work independently within tight datelines.
Meticulous and adaptive to changes with high accuracy.
IT literacy is required for this position.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to use SQL accounting system.

Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analyzing industry trends and assessing the financial health of the company.
Oversee the operations and development of the company’s finance departments including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, recruiting, training and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures.
Supervise the preparation of quarterly and annual account reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards and assist with cash flow forecasting.

Identifying and addressing financial risks and opportunities for the company.
Managing relationships with financial institutions, investors, and other stakeholders.
Plan, execute and oversee upgrades to financial systems, processes, or technologies
Develops and executes the financial strategy for the IPO, working closely with the executive team and board of directors. This includes evaluating the company's financial position, assessing capital requirements, and determining the optimal timing and pricing for the offering.
