Overview We currently have a very exciting opportunity for a Distance Learning and Digital Coordinator to join our existing Adult Learning team. As the coordinator, you will lead these subjects and work with our Adult Learning team and Awarding Organisations to constantly improve our courses and progression pathways for our learners. Engage with Buckinghamshire residents, community groups, stakeholders, and colleagues to recognise the role that basic skills play in supporting individuals’ everyday life, boost confidence, and provide the skills to help unlock new skills, job opportunities, or progression at work. About the role The successful candidates will be responsible for coordinating, managing, and reviewing digital and distance learning programmes. Some of the main responsibilities of the role will include: Be the service lead for the department, planning and managing programmes, and providing intervention as required. Manage, observe and support tutors who deliver the programme. Lead on IQA processes Evaluate and report on programme progression suggesting and implementing improvements. About you For this exciting and unique opportunity, we are looking for candidates who have a background in teaching and feel passionately about supporting adults to improve their basic skills. Can use a variety of teaching methods inspirationally for learners to achieve their potential. Work collaboratively and communicate with a wide and varied audience, including learners, community stakeholders, and the wider BAL team. You must be able to work flexibly, be self-motivated, respond to the service demand and be able to demonstrate the ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload efficiently.
