What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have previous experience surveying within the water sector or on major infrastructure projects and ideally hold a degree in quantity surveying (or equivalent). In addition, you will have sound knowledge of administering NEC contracts and preferably hold both a CSCS and EUSR card. Finally, you will be commercially astute and have strong communication skills.

They can offer a package of between £55,000 - £70,000 (DOE), plus car / car allowance, and the company benefits that comes with it. Including; Private pension, private healthcare, 24 days holiday + stats increasing on length of service.
Hybrid working arrangements are also on offer, and can be flexible to suit accordingly, ideally 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home (however, you will required to carry out site visits so you must live within the North East, and a sensible distance of Durham.)

You will be joining a Tier 2 contractor based in Coventry working on a wide range of schemes from highways works to industrial projects. They have a strong pipeline of work across a multitude of different sectors and due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Quantity Surveyor to join their business.

Your new role
As Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for, but not limited to, applications of payments and costings, monitoring cashflow and valuation plans, providing accurate reports of costs and values on the projects. In addition, you will be expected to take on some estimating responsibilities. This role is predominantly office based (with travel to sites as and when required).

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have previously utilised NEC and/or JCT forms of contract and ideally hold a degree in quantity surveying (or experience equivalent). Be an ambitious individual that is keen to progress in your career. You will be able to work independently and as part of a team.
