Quality Controller
Location: Grimsby Docks, Grimsby (DN31)
Pay rate: £11.50 per hour and Overtime rate of 1.25x for weekend and bank holiday working
Main Duties
- To work as part of a team and undertake the tasks allocated to you by the team leaders and management team.
- To ensure all technical and legal requirements are met and to report any issues to the management team as necessary to help maintain BRC status.
- Work efficiently using the SI system ensuring all stock transactions have been entered correctly.
- Support the Supervisors and Quality Team to ensure all Health & Safety practices are implemented correctly and the factory is "audit ready" at all times.
- Recording the statistics of salmon, when needed as accurately as possible.
- When involved with the dispatch of salmon, ensuring the correct monitoring and standards are adhered to.
- Understanding and implementing the correct trace ability codes and asking for help if unsure.
Qualifications & Experience
- Excellent time management and planning skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Previous experience as a quality controller
- Previous experience factory environment beneficial
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred
- Working hours are 05:45am - finish (usually between 3pm - 4pm) with 2 x 30 minute unpaid breaks.
- Overtime rate of 1.25x for weekend and bank holiday working
- 28 days holiday (3 compulsory for Christmas & New Year bank holidays)
