Major duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Performing analytical and evaluative work associated with the Compliance Program activities as well as the extraction and collection of the data for analysis

• Advises Nursing Executives and Supervisory Health Systems Specialists on issues that affect the delivery of health care related to the nursing services in the INS and the impact on the Medical Center as a whole.

• Developing service level policies and Medical Center Memorandums pertaining to Surgical Service. These are to be developed with input from the clinical staff in Surgical Service and the Associate Chief of the OR/PACU/DSU/ENDO.
• Coordinating, communicating and integrating activities of Surgical Service with other services as needed concerning policies.
