They are currently looking for a Regional Tax Manager to support the APAC tax advisory work and champion the digitisation project for the region. Description You will play an instrumental role in partnering with various country finance teams in APAC, functional heads as well as global tax teams in providing tax advice with an aim to minimise tax exposure and drive synergies with corporate strategies. You will facilitate transfer pricing compliance matters and work with individual countries with regards to transfer pricing matters. You will evaluate projects in acquisition/divestment or re-organising and perform tax due diligence work. You will play a key role in advising stakeholders on tax structuring and incentives to optimise tax positions. You will review tax reporting by individual country finance leads and provide tax analysis in a timely manner. This role will also have opportunities to drive global projects in the tax digitisation project in automating dashboards as well as implementing new policies and procedures. Profile The ideal candidate should have the following:Accounting Degree or equivalent with more than 5 years of commercial tax experience ideally with a mix of experience from Big 4 and subsequently with a multinational in a regional tax role. Job Description

You will be reporting to the General Manager directly.

Your responsibilities include:

• Lead commercial development efforts in various regions to meet growth and revenue objectives
• Innovate new projects and business models to achieve desired targets
• Implement a competency-based approach to performance management for commercial talent, fostering development and alignment
• To be the company's representative globally in significant pitch opportunities, supporting key meetings, RFP responses, and initiatives for client expansion
• Collaborate cross-functionally internally to craft the company's go-to-market strategy, refining sales materials and case studies tailored to specific markets
• Work with Logistics Operations to analyze and quantify market opportunities, guiding resource planning optimization
• Advocate for the adoption of existing processes, technologies, and resources while addressing market-specific needs or changes

The Successful Applicant

You should have a Diploma or a Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain related field and experience in commercial and freight forwarding/warehouse operations. You must possess a deep understanding of the logistics marketplace and be able to promote end-to-end contract logistics. You should have strong analytical and interpersonal skills; with the ability to work as a team in a multi-level and fast-paced organization. You must demonstrate success in bid processes and have strong people management skills.
