Tasks & responsibilities
- Draft commercial contracts, lease, joint-venture agreements, partnership agreement, shareholder agreements, merger and acquisition, commercial loan and other commercial and corporate documentation
- Provide legal opinion on corporate matters
- Conduct due diligence for corporate transactions
- Guide clients on regulatory and compliance issues
- Negotiate deals on behalf of clients
- Any other tasks when required
Qualifications & experience
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Law (Honours) – LL.B (Hons.)
- At least 3 years of working experience preferably as an advocate and solicitor
- Familiar with areas of laws/legislations such as company law, contracts law, land law, mergers and acquisitions, sales of goods act, consumer protection act
- Familiar with business-related matters, such as property development contracts, business agreements, shareholder agreements, due diligence, debt recovery, etc
- Familiar with general litigation matters
