More detail about the role We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work as part of our dedicated Administration Line Management Team in Trauma and Orthopaedics. The role is diverse and requires a self-motivated individual who will be able to adapt to the growth and challenges of the department. This opportunity is a great role for someone who likes to problem solve and work in a fast-past environment. This role is extremely beneficial to both the Clinical and the Administration teams. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate that they have strong communication and influencing skills as well as the ability to build excellent working relationships. You will be accountable for the line management, coaching and development of the divisional administrative and secretarial teams, and it is these teams who are dedicated to provide solid administration services within the Orthopaedic Division. The breadth of this role includes ensuring a duty of care and that administrative services function effectively on a day to day basis, supporting the needs of Service Lines and their patients. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate that they have strong communication and influencing skills as well as the ability to build excellent working relationships; ideally you will have an NHS leadership background. As a key member of the management team, you will be adaptable and drive through positive change in an ever-changing climate of improvement. You will work collaboratively with the wider management team to promote a culture of inclusive and continuous improvement and share this knowledge across the Trust to improve efficiencies, whilst always ensuring you have excellent patient care in your line of sight. This is a hugely demanding but rewarding position that would best suit a self-driven and positive individual.
