The Technical Manager is responsible for providing project planning and management for established initiatives within a company. Technical Manager coordinate with trade managers (M&E, Structural and Architectural) to ensure that projects are completed to specification, within an established time frame and budget. The Technical Manager is the lead subject matter expert within the company regarding technology concerns and industry expertise to improve all aspects of project planning and resource management.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Lead and manage the project team in coordinating design drawings with consultants to comply with requirements of the authorities.
• Review and provide solutions to technical problems as well as planning, monitoring and reporting work progress for building & civil projects.
• Provide guidance in preparing technical submissions for materials, construction methods and shop drawings.
• Lead the project team in resolving construction issues on drawings and liaising closely with Architectural, Structural and M&E teams and the authorities.
• Establish and implement training processes and strategies for all technical personnel
• Analyze, plan and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects
• Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects.
• Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives.
• Research and evaluate hardware and software technology options and weigh the cost/benefit analysis when making large purchases on behalf of the company
• Develops a strategy for the development and deployment of new and emerging building construction and civil engineering technologies.
• Develops metrics to qualify and quantify criteria for success for new technologies within the business.
• Oversees the integration of new technologies and ensures selected technologies are consistent with business initiatives and technology architecture.
• Develop project execution strategy including, logistics plan, equipment deployment plans, construction methodology, manpower, project schedule. Discuss and suggest technical proposals
• Implement improvements to the Company’s operations so as to raise productivity and reduce wastage
• Ensures compliance with the approved BIM Execution and BIM Scope Plans
• Responsible for the development, coordination, publication, and verification that all necessary configurations required for seamless integration of design and construction model information have been implemented and assures information is provided at milestone submittals
• Study with the Project Manager to provide the optimum constructability for the project
• Execution of Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) implementation plan;

We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Project and Development Services team. As a Senior Project Manager at JLL, you will be directly responsible for executing complex project goals through agile and strategic leadership. Leveraging a national platform will allow you to focus on and lead industry changing projects that influence the future of work. Your strong knowledge of construction projects from Pre-construction and Design Management to Occupancy/Commissioning and Closeout, will speak to your holistic approach to client needs. Your influence will be founded in facilitating critical stakeholder meetings, providing on-site project leadership and applying financial acumen to meet client goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage wide variety projects for both new construction and tenant improvement projects.
• Develop and maintain Master Project Schedules and manage the successful execution of projects so that completion falls within intended timeframes.
• Ensure project team meets the established timelines & requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage the design process as well as Architects, Interior Designers, Consultants, Engineers, Testing
• Agents, and Commissioning Agents, among others.
• Prepare RFP’s needed for vendor and contractor services as well as manage the contractor, vendor selection process.
• Monitor the budget and create cost savings for the client.
• Serve as liaison between the client, finance and vendors.
• Collaborate across all JLL platforms including transaction managers, facilities managers, building engineers, occupancy planners, low voltage managers, and move managers, among others.
• Highly organized with strong analytical skills.
• Apply technology to drive change and provide data accuracy for reporting.
• Proficiency in the use and application of project management technology tools (i.e. MS Project, Excel, etc.) and continually seek opportunities to develop your skillset.
• Ensure project closeouts and invoices are completed within established Client SLA for assigned Programs.
• Champion safety by ensuring JLL guidelines are followed.
• Experience with of low voltage cabling a plus.
• Any and all other duties and tasks assigned.
• Travel as needed, up to 25%.

Education & Experience

• (10+) years of relevant experience related to base building and interiors construction management.
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent desired
• Corporate Real Estate/Office project management experience preferred

PLC Software Engineers to design

. Primary roles for mechanical project

conceptualization design.
