General Description:
Under general supervision, performs professional work in all phases of a comprehensive staff development and training program for an assigned Unit.
Essential Responsibilities:

• Responsible for planning, implementing, evaluating and documenting staff development and in-service related to safety & security
• Develops criteria to evaluate needs of the staff and measure the effectiveness of safety & security training programs
• Coordinates and facilitates safety & security competency development, verification and maintenance activities
• Responsible for coordinating safety & security orientation program for all staff in Behavioral Health care settings
• Coordinates and facilitates quality improvement activities related to safety & security
General Responsibilities:
• Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in related field
Experience: Three (3) years of experience in the specified area of teaching. Experience with teaching de-escalation training such as CPI, Vistelar, Mandt, or similar preferred.
OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Current State Driver’s License and clean driving record.
