Job Summary:

Assisting the HOD with work planning, organizing, coordinating, implementing and directing the activities of the Security and SHE through risk minimization programs for daily and during events to ensure a secure and safe facility, effective access control, security of SIC’s assets and a secure environment for the staff, clients, pectators and any third parties in SIC’s premise.

Job Descriptions:

• To identify critical security risk, SHE hazards and control weakness,
  process gaps for SIC business operations during daily and events.
• To conduct liaison/ networking and managing relationship with Law
  Enforcement Agencies such as Police and Local Government, such as
  DOSH.
• To provide advice and training to internal staff on Security & SHE requirement standards during daily and events.
• To develop, respond and assist the organization in any Security & SHE
  related emergency within SIC i.e Occupational Safety, Occupational
  Health, Security Incident, Fire Safety, Road Safety and Pandemic issues to
  minimize impact and consequences annually basis by acting as a Subject
  Matter Expert (SME) for SIC Emergency Response Team (ERT)/ Crisis
  Management Team / Enterprise Risk Management Team / Business
  Continuity Program.
• To ensure and security and safety team performs the task given daily and
  provides reports as timeline given by the HOD.
• Ensuring the effectiveness of Security & SHE Management best practice
  for SIC in general.
• To assist and liaise with the consultants on revamping the CCTV and
  preparing the necessary documents. Ensuring the CCTV is always operational.

Job Requirements:

• At least Diploma in BOSHM, Green Book, Protective Management,
  Criminal Justice. or related.
• Background in Police or Armed Forces is advantage.
• Good in spoken & written in English & Bahasa Melayu. 
• Computer literate. 
• Well verse in OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 45001:2018 documentation and
  implementation.
• Well verse with emergency response and business continuity strategy (crisis).
• Willing to work long hours, during weekend and public holiday.
•  Able to work in minimal supervision.
• Sound judgement and decision-making skills, with a hand on, problem solving
  approach, able to remain calm under pressure and take control of incidents.

Responsibilities:

• Compares prices amongst various vendors in order to make sound purchasing decisions.

Responsibilities:

Assistant Manager’s role is to build business by identifying and selling to prospects; maintaining relationships with clients. Assistant Manager will be in charge of building long-term relationships with a group of customers and generally stay with customers for the length of their relationship with the company. Assistant Manager will also be required to answer client queries as first point of contact and subject matter expert on DEC and identify new business opportunities among existing customers, and develop new customers for the Driving Experience Centre as well.

• Primary contact for all Driving Experience Centre matters – sales, product and facility operations.

You are strong and experienced hotel ambassador who excel at maximizing the experience and satisfaction of the hotel guests. You will be responsible for taking care of our guests and our team members by coordinating all operations of the hotel. You will ensure that all team members are up to date with the current knowledge of all the hotel products and services including room types, rates, facilities, food and beverage outlets, spa and health club. You will monitor all arrivals, ensuring all guest requests are carried out smoothly and that all reservations are dealt with as efficiently as possible.

 Oversee the smooth running of the Sports & Recreations department on a day to day basis to achieve the highest possible levels of guest satisfaction.

Create new, unique and interesting recreation activities that draw upon the best cultural, sporting or other offerings of the area in which the hotel is located.  To continually be positioning the sports and leisure offering as a differentiator and a point of competitive advantage for the hotel. Ensure outsourced service provides are of good quality.

To have a complete knowledge of the products and services offered by the hotel.

To lead the implementation of all health and safety codes in the sports and leisure activities of the hotel, and in particular to take full and complete care of children.

Take the lead on the Avani Sepang Goldcoast Resort Children programme/ AvaniKids.

Ensure that all activities are performed in a safe environment using proper safety techniques.

Train and assist in the evaluation of attendants who work with fitness programs.  Supervise instructors and all other associates helping with any activities or functions arranged via the Sports & Recreations.

Use qualified attendants in all areas where relevant qualifications are required, i.e. Fitness leader, Aerobic Instructors, Lifeguard.

Monitor the success of the activities programs through the number of participants per scheduled event and through guests’ feedback.  Make necessary adjustments to maintain top quality, fun filled and original programs for hotel guests.

Prepare and circulate clear information to guests of the events offered by the hotel in conjunction with the Avani Sepang Goldcoast Resort Concierge.

Customer Service Manager:

Make sure that client comments and concerns are taken seriously and appropriately handled.
Oversee, develop, and inspire a group of client service agents.
Establish performance benchmarks and carry out frequent performance reviews.
Keep an eye on and handle consumer enquiries via email and other media.
Create and execute quality policies and guidelines to provide consistent, superior customer service.
To make sure that these criteria are followed, keep an eye on and assess team performance.
Utilise reviews, surveys, and other methods to get and gather input from customers.
