JOB SCOPE:

· Verify the accuracy, authenticity, and completeness of the Project Expenditure

· Report supporting documents for all final claims submitted by grant recipients and forwarded by the Authority.

· Any other documents accepted by the Authority to support the claims.

· Liaise directly with grant recipients on any queries pertaining to the claims and/or missing documents for the claims,

· Follow up on any irregularities, obtain and record grant recipients’ explanations for cases where the actual expenditure based on receipts differ from the approved budget/cost.

· Liaise with the Authority’s Grant Officers for the respective grants to provide updates on claims verification process and/or seek clarifications relevant to claim verification. This may include verifying and acknowledgment of receipt or disbursement of payment to awardees.

· Compute claim disbursable amount according to the respective guidelines and terms and conditions of the grants.

· Prepare a Claims Verification Report to report on the results of claims verification, such as highlighting the receipts verified and the non-qualifying receipts/payment documents and following up with any irregularities/inaccuracies

· Any information or documents, pertaining to the verification, are to be returned to the Authority, upon completion of the Contract

· Ensure that claims are verified in a timely manner

Job Description:

The Finance Admin Officer (FAO) supports the department in carrying out the responsibilities of the Finance & Billing team. He/She is involved in work that may be related to Billing, preparation of basic Accounts receivables reports, data compilation for finance related reports, and other accounting tasks.
