Responsibilities:

• Define project goals and objectives.
• Monitor and analyze project effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative tools.
• Recommend and implement modifications to improve effectiveness and attain project milestones.
• Organise, coordinate and monitor activities of assigned projects to develop and implement procedures,processes and systems.
• Educate employees in methods to ensure project continuity and completeness.
• Create detailed task lists and work effort assessment.
• Arrange short and long-term resource allocation plans based on input from all key players and team members.
• Manage schedules and risk management plans and provide serious deviations warnings hindering project results.
• Identify changes in work scope in the project plan.
• Ensure to take appropriate planning measures with all clients to reassess, renegotiate and amend scope of work responsibilities, proposals, contracts and budgets.
• Evaluate and analyze with team risks and issues compromising project results and develop plans to mitigate them.
   

Requirements: 

• Proven work experience as a Project Planner or similar role.
• Familiarity in project management, from conception to delivery.
• An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans.
• Outstanding organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
• Excellent client-facing and teamwork skills.
• Knowledgeable with risk management and quality assurance control.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Planner.
• Hands-on experience with project management tools.

The team

Go-to-Market Team, SEA

We provide our solutions on a global scale. Southeast Asia (SEA) is central to the group’s growth plans and presents GBG with a significant opportunity to address both existing and new clients' business objectives with a full solution showcase. Importantly we consistently put the customer first and by doing so we focus on providing high-quality customer service, this delivers improvements to the customer’s journey, which will generate enhanced profitability.

The role

Is directly responsible for new business development of our solutions across the local Malaysian markets, to ensure that revenue targets are achieved. In addition, this role needs to support the business development of other GBG solutions in the mentioned market. The market is defined by the banking and micro-lending sector, the insurance industry, the gaming industry, and other sectors where the solutions can be applied such as money remittance.

What you will do

• Work with the Senior Regional Director (Southeast Asia) to implement strategies as defined by the market’s POAP in line with the group’s VOS (Vision, Objective, Strategy).
• Ensure the achievement of the sales revenue target set for the assigned markets.
• Build new business opportunities across all GBG products and solutions in both new and existing customers.
• Work with the marketing team to continually build the GBG brand in the defined markets.
• Make GBG easy for our customers to do business with, by aligning appropriate resources and knowledge.
• Work with the Senior Regional Director (Southeast Asia) to provide accurate and timely sales forecasting in line with the group's approach to revenue recognition.
• Communicate regularly with your line manager on activity and achievement against set strategy.
• Interact with the GBG team, based in Malaysia, to maximise opportunities.

What we're looking for

• Strong interpersonal skills that will enable alignment of all GBG’s products and services to deliver a seamless customer buying experience.
• Self-motivated, driven to succeed and the ability to work with minimal management oversight.
• Knowledge and experience in selling in enterprise fraud & compliance solutions.
• Strong understanding and relevant experience of the financial services marketplace.
• Excellent knowledge and demonstration of process to understand the clients buying process.
• Ability to build a strong sales pipeline.
• Proven ability to meet multimillion-dollar targets.
• Flexibility/adaptability. You can adapt to rapidly changing priorities and projects.
• Provide accurate and timely sales forecasting in line with the groups approach to revenue recognition.
• Work and engage with all appropriate resource within GBG to satisfy the customer’s requirements.
• Support the leadership in delivering against tactical objectives.
• Work as part of a matrix structure involving Customer Success, Go to Market and APAC teams.

• Build and maintain a continuous product roadmap by working with product teams at the regional and global level. Parallelly work with the various operations and business teams to understand business processes and explore how to solve problems that have never been solved before at this scale
