- Developing and revising annual and multi-year long and short-range plans and reviewing DFAS Small Business Program individual fiscal year program goals and objectives.
- Requirements involve a number of separate elements as program, project, or complexity of technical requirements; small or disadvantaged business considerations are at prime and subcontractor levels.
- Monitor contracting operations to assess their effect on agency Small Business programs and the level of compliance with related Congressional mandates and Government-wide policies.
- Review purchase requests and solicitation plans for set aside for awards that are noncompetitive or awarded with limited competition to small business firms; and to provide advice or assistance in resolving procurement problems.
