The Sourcing Analyst, Data & Analytics is responsible for collecting, validating, and analyzing data related to the global sourcing function. The data analyst works closely with the CoE Data Analytics team, the data provider, and the category managers to provide accurate and timely reports and insights. The data analyst also identifies and communicates opportunities for data and process improvement.
Responsibilities,
- Calculates and validates KPIs monthly. Makes recommendations to improve the process to Senior Analyst, Data & Analytics (locally) or Director (remote).
- Collects all relevant data to enable data uploads, handles communications with provider to enable monthly data refresh. Communicates refresh status to Global Sourcing. Responds to tactical Q&A.
- Attends meetings with provider and assists Global Sourcing with login access, Q&A and requests for data provider.
- Provides reports that meet business requirements and makes improvements with each iteration.
- Run ad-hoc reports in support of Categories and business-partners. First point of contact for day-to-day questions.
- Provides recommendations to improve data processing and reporting.
- Analyzes exceptions reports quarterly and sends out communication of action plans to resolve critical issues to business partners.
- Executes quarterly data reconciliations and aligns with categories to achieve aligned accuracy expectations.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
