Role Summary:
The role of a finance executive typically involves overseeing financial activities and administrative functions within an organization. The finance executives play a critical role in ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of an organization while also supporting its strategic objectives.
Main Responsibilites:
- Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and bank reconciliations. This includes handling a full set or partial accounts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
- Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
Requirement:
- A minimum diploma or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or ACCA is required.
- Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or Job Costing. Experience with the Cargowise system is preferred.
- Should be a self-starter, able to demonstrate sound judgment and versatility in decision-making and problem solving.
- Capability to work efficiently in remote and matrix environment with ability to operate collaboratively across multiple stakeholder groups / boundaries.
- Ability to function effectively in a team environment and gain the cooperation of individuals across the organization
