We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Corporate Manager/Tourism Director to lead our Geopark Tourism Project near Taman Melawati. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in international business management and have a proven track record in successfully executing tourism projects. This role will involve liaising with government agencies, stakeholders, and project funders to ensure the successful implementation and management of the Geopark Tourism initiative.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to promote Geopark Tourism and enhance visitor experiences.
Lead and oversee all aspects of project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, local authorities, and other key stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations and obtain necessary permits and approvals.
Collaborate with international partners, tourism organizations, and industry experts to leverage resources and expertise for the advancement of the project.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the tourism industry and develop innovative strategies to capitalize on them.
Direct and supervise a team of professionals and consultants involved in various aspects of the project, including marketing, operations, and community engagement.
Monitor and evaluate project performance against established goals and objectives, and implement corrective measures as necessary to ensure project success.
Represent the organization at meetings, conferences, and events related to Geopark Tourism and serve as a spokesperson for the project.
Prepare and present regular reports and updates to senior management and project stakeholders on the progress and achievements of the Geopark Tourism initiative.
Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in all aspects of project implementation and management.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Tourism Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in international business management, particularly in the tourism sector, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team to achieve common goals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels, both domestically and internationally.
In-depth knowledge of the tourism industry, including market trends, customer preferences, and best practices in destination management.
Demonstrated ability to negotiate and collaborate with government agencies, funding organizations, and community stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
Analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex challenges.
Proficiency in project management tools and techniques, with experience in managing large-scale projects from inception to completion.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a willingness to travel as required.
Fluency in English and proficiency in other languages would be an advantage.
