Responsibilities​ 

•  Direct all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and clean-up
•  Maintain kitchen equipment as needed
• Supervise kitchen crew stewarding crew 
• Resolve issues as they arise to ensure the continuation of food service 
• Maintain control of the kitchen to ensure efficiency 
• Plan menus and set prices based on the availability of ingredients
• Ensure all staff adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure a clean and sanitary kitchen 
•  Inspect raw and cooked food to guarantee quality 
• Collaborate with the resident manager to a line kitchen operation with the overarching goals of the establishment 
• Direct monthly inventory 
• Maintain vendor relationships 
• Recruit and train kitchen crew 
• Develop new menu options based on seasonal changes and guest demand 
• Preparation and planning for occupant’s meals 
• Ensure that kitchen activities operate in a timely manner 
• Resolve guest problems and concerns personally 
• Monitor and record inventory, and if necessary, order new supplies 
• Provide support to the junior kitchen crew with various tasks including line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating 
• Create schedules for the kitchen crew and evaluate their performance

• To control food costs as per budget

Experience 

• Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience as a chef or cook, and at least 2 years in a 5-star property environment

• Have 1 year of relevant working experience will be prioritized

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative and secretarial support to the HOD.
• Responsible for company asset management.
• Recommend improvements or process enhancements to improve team productivity and cost efficiency.
• Deliver and manage administrative processes, assist in the compilation and documentation of administrative policies and procedures.
• Ensure the administrative records of the department are kept up to date and all necessary filing is made on a timely basis.
• Produce and monitor regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Directs office activities and functions to maintain efficiency and compliance with company policies.
• Assists clerical and support staff with their assigned duties, particularly when more advanced, skilled, or sensitive work is required.
• Prepare internal and external correspondences including memos, letters, notices, reports & presentations
• Support and coordinate activities, events and other initiatives organized by the department and company.
• Assist in procurement & expenditure requisition such as sourcing for quotations, tabling comparisons and preparing purchase orders
• Assist in arranging for appointments/meetings and take notes/minutes where necessary
• Assist in maintaining office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.
  Undertake other ad-hoc projects or assignments assigned by HOD when required.
   

Requirements:

• At least a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies/ Administration/ Management or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of working experience in the related field.
• Able to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
• Required Skill: MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word.
