Job Description :

• Responsible for the execution of civil and structural design involving the preparation of calculations and review of structural design drawings in accordance to customers' specifications, applicable codes, standards and other generally accepted practices.
• Assist in producing tender specifications and design requirements for calling of tender contracts.
• Undertake detailed design of buildings and civil infrastructures.
• Work with Qualified Person (QP) and/or Senior Engineer to develop design scheme for civil and structural works, submissions to authorities, project planning, implementation and monitoring progress of project.
• Project coordination and liaison with stake holders on technical matters during construction stage.

Requirements :

• Candidates must possess minimum a Bachelor Engineering (Civil) degree recognised by PE Board.
• Engineers with minimum 3 years' relevant local experience in engineering design work with consultant firm.
• Conversant with latest design codes and authority requirements (Codes of practice directives, etc.).
• With good attitude towards quality of work and timeline.
• Able to work independently to support the Qualified Person and/or Senior Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director/s with projects in the pipeline, represent him/her during internal and external functions, coordinate and supervise daily operations, project lead times, and maintain work schedules
• Assist in developing, implementing and monitoring plans and goals
• Supervise and execute civil, structural, and/or or geotechnical engineering projects
• Lead, train and support junior engineers
• Coordinate projects including submission to local authorities and liaison during the construction stage
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies
• Collaborate with colleagues in other disciplines to ensure delivery of quality service for clients
• Liaise with clients, consultant, and authorities

Requirements

• Professional Engineer (Civil) registered with PEB
• Proven leadership and organisational skills in similar capacity
• Good knowledge of various engineering design software and analytical tools
• Conversant in design codes and authority requirements
• Independent, organized with positive work attitude
