Job Summary:

Assisting the HOD with work planning, organizing, coordinating, implementing and directing the activities of the Security and SHE through risk minimization programs for daily and during events to ensure a secure and safe facility, effective access control, security of SIC’s assets and a secure environment for the staff, clients, pectators and any third parties in SIC’s premise.

Job Descriptions:

• To identify critical security risk, SHE hazards and control weakness,
  process gaps for SIC business operations during daily and events.
• To conduct liaison/ networking and managing relationship with Law
  Enforcement Agencies such as Police and Local Government, such as
  DOSH.
• To provide advice and training to internal staff on Security & SHE requirement standards during daily and events.
• To develop, respond and assist the organization in any Security & SHE
  related emergency within SIC i.e Occupational Safety, Occupational
  Health, Security Incident, Fire Safety, Road Safety and Pandemic issues to
  minimize impact and consequences annually basis by acting as a Subject
  Matter Expert (SME) for SIC Emergency Response Team (ERT)/ Crisis
  Management Team / Enterprise Risk Management Team / Business
  Continuity Program.
• To ensure and security and safety team performs the task given daily and
  provides reports as timeline given by the HOD.
• Ensuring the effectiveness of Security & SHE Management best practice
  for SIC in general.
• To assist and liaise with the consultants on revamping the CCTV and
  preparing the necessary documents. Ensuring the CCTV is always operational.

Job Requirements:

• At least Diploma in BOSHM, Green Book, Protective Management,
  Criminal Justice. or related.
• Background in Police or Armed Forces is advantage.
• Good in spoken & written in English & Bahasa Melayu. 
• Computer literate. 
• Well verse in OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 45001:2018 documentation and
  implementation.
• Well verse with emergency response and business continuity strategy (crisis).
• Willing to work long hours, during weekend and public holiday.
•  Able to work in minimal supervision.
• Sound judgement and decision-making skills, with a hand on, problem solving
  approach, able to remain calm under pressure and take control of incidents.

Responsible for working with users either internal or external, including vendors/suppliers. To perform IT support on infrastructure and operation covering end-to-end process which include CSC, Front-Of-House and Back-Of-House process. Architect the infrastructure and design with related partners e.g. network provider, data center support, etc. to ensure store infrastructure fulfil current and future business requirement and security concern. Manage operation support provider to achieve business requirement and IT service.

Being the leader of the IT department and point of contact for IT team to ensure that all IT services are functioning properly to be able to operate the Hotel business as per the expectation and performs other task as assigned by senior management.

Perform risk management to minimize support risks, maintain infrastructure and application with knowledge of POS and all existing store systems, work closely with network and system support provider.

Safety & Security Manager you are responsible for the conformity with all corporate, federal and local regulations related to Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental(OHSE) regulations, where as your role involves the implementation of HACCP & OHSE programs.

You will participate in all sales activities and work in line with the sales and marketing plan for the various market segments in order to exceed hotel revenue and targets. The scope of responsibility includes: promoting the hotel brand, contracting new business and maximizing revenue for the hotel. You are also in charge of establishing outstanding businesses relationships within local, domestic and international markets monitoring competitor activities and market intelligence attending travel functions and sales road shows and organizing sales trips to promote sales for the hotel.  Oversee the smooth running of the Sports & Recreations department on a day to day basis to achieve the highest possible levels of guest satisfaction.

Create new, unique and interesting recreation activities that draw upon the best cultural, sporting or other offerings of the area in which the hotel is located.  To continually be positioning the sports and leisure offering as a differentiator and a point of competitive advantage for the hotel. To have a complete knowledge of the products and services offered by the hotel.

To lead the implementation of all health and safety codes in the sports and leisure activities of the hotel, and in particular to take full and complete care of children.

Take the lead on the Avani Sepang Goldcoast Resort Children programme/ AvaniKids.

Ensure that all activities are performed in a safe environment using proper safety techniques.

Train and assist in the evaluation of attendants who work with fitness programs.  Supervise instructors and all other associates helping with any activities or functions arranged via the Sports & Recreations.

Use qualified attendants in all areas where relevant qualifications are required, i.e. Fitness leader, Aerobic Instructors, Lifeguard.

Monitor the success of the activities programs through the number of participants per scheduled event and through guests’ feedback.  Make necessary adjustments to maintain top quality, fun filled and original programs for hotel guests.

Prepare and circulate clear information to guests of the events offered by the hotel in conjunction with the Avani Sepang Goldcoast Resort Concierge.

You will be the Food & Beverage leadership expert, driving the Food & Beverage team in all aspects, from business planning and organizing to operations and administration. You will be responsible for achieving the highest customer satisfaction, brand and quality standards, as well as bringing creativity and variety to our food & beverage offering. Further you will manage the financial aspects of the department to achieve the budgeted revenues, profit and food & beverage costs whilst maintaining food and beverage quality. You will maintain the team member performance and development at the superior level – grooming ‘good’ to ‘great’ and achieve the targeted team member satisfaction. FInally you woul work closely with the sales & catering, marketing and banquet teams to maximize the business results.

You are strong and experienced hotel ambassador who excel at maximizing the experience and satisfaction of the hotel guests. You will be responsible for taking care of our guests and our team members by coordinating all operations of the hotel. You will ensure that all team members are up to date with the current knowledge of all the hotel products and services including room types, rates, facilities, food and beverage outlets, spa and health club. You will monitor all arrivals, ensuring all guest requests are carried out smoothly and that all reservations are dealt with as efficiently as possible.
