Tasks and Responsibilities:
I. FINANCE MANAGER
1. ACCOUNTING AND INTERNAL CONTROLS
a. Ensure timely and accurate closing and reporting of management accounts of all entities under scope on monthly basis, and statutory accounts on annual basis.
b. Manage external audit process and ensure clean report of auditors on all entities under scope.
c. Ensure proper accounting process and internal control enforcements.
2. TAX
a. Ensure compliance with tax requirements and reporting, so that tax risk is mitigated.
b. Handle any tax audit or queries from relevant tax authorities to their satisfaction.
c. Analyse tax risks in relation to all positions and transactions (including transfer pricing, capital roll up plans, etc.) and propose solutions to mitigate said risks.
3. TREASURY
a. Accurately plan the cash flow of entities under scope, and report to consolidation department.
b. Coordinate funding framework definition, funding approvals and funding execution for all group subsidiaries based on planned cash flow.
c. Manage bank accounts (including KYC requirements) of all legal entities under scope.
4. PROJECT FINANCE
a. Supervise timely and accurate preparation of all project finance models in coordination with development and construction teams, group Project Finance Controller and Group Consolidation manager.
b. Analyse project profitability and coordinate project control with project managers
5. BUDGETING AND FORECASTING
a. Coordinate and prepare budget and forecasts of all entities and all projects under scope as and when required.
b. Control all budget variations and obtain approvals for any runover in a timely manner.
6. LOCAL ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT
a. Review correctness of local payroll, inc. monthly CPF and SDF contributions
b. Advise on local employment contracts and compliance with local regulations.
c. Contribute to local compliance with all financial filing requirements with authorities.
II GROUP COORDINATOR OF FINANCE OPERATIONS
For all Finance Operations, namely 1) Accounting Processes, 2) Internal Control policies and authorization matrix, 3) Tax compliance
1. POLICY DESIGN AND MAINTENANCE
Collect existing policies, propose harmonized group policies wherever relevant, get them approved, roll them out (communication and training) and maintain them to keep them always valid as per business needs.
2. AD HOC SUPPORT AND ADVICE
As requested by each country, provide support and guidance to all countries to address all topics related to accounting processes, internal controls and taxes.
Requirements:
- Candidate should possess Degree qualifications and a Qualified Accountant (CPA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in a leadership role in FP&A, group reporting and consolidation in a manufacturing company
- High level of proficiency in MS Office
- Strong analytical skills with ability to set priorities, complete work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Diplomatic in handling internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent team player who demonstrates flexibility and embraces collaboration.
