Job Purpose:

Warehouse management and logistics processes to ensure professional handling of incoming goods, warehousing and shipping to customers, including both speed and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Operation of Shyft Warehouse Systems (Prism AND SAP)
• Receipt and shipment of goods (units for repair).
• Inventory control and spare parts management
• Scrap disposal (BER process)
• Organization of domestic and international shipments

Knowledge Skills and Experience

• Duties involve regular repetitive light, medium and heavy lifting. Manual handling training to be provided;
• Previous warehouse experience;
• Knowledge of the English language to enable communication
• Total customer satisfaction (internally and externally);
• Conscientious, reliable, with good attendance and timekeeping standards;
• Honest, trustworthy, able to work unsupervised;
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills;
• Keen to learn and acquire new skills, responds positively to feedback;

Job Purpose:  

Work with warehouse colleagues to ensure efficient, safe and accurate handling of stock and delivery of high quality service to all customers.

Responsibilities:

• Perform core operational tasks such as goods receipt, put away, pick and pack customer orders in alignment with established company processes and SSW documentation (Safe System of Work);
• Assist with regular and ad hoc site activities such as full inventory checks, system development and implementation;
• Ensure all stock is stored, handled and transported securely and in line with company procedures, hygiene legislation and health and safety guidelines;
• Provide a professional, courteous and efficient service to all customers;
• Work with colleagues to ensure the workplace environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness, and complies with company and legislative standards at all times;
• Take reasonable care of both your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your acts or omissions, ensuring all company safety and quality systems are followed and all relevant legislation complied with, raising concerns and reporting any incidents or suggestions to your line manager;
• Support and assist newly appointed or less experienced colleagues by providing training and guidance as appropriate;
• Provide cover for absent colleagues as and when required, and regularly refresh on processes to ensure this can be achieved effectively;
• Any other duties that may be required from time to time for the smooth running of the business;
• Undertake forklift truck duties as required, ensuring daily safety checks are conducted thoroughly and company warehouse guidelines observed.
