Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Administrative Executive, the Teacher Support Assistant (Temporary) is responsible for the following:
1. Assist and support academic staff in the managing and running of students’ programmes and activities. These include but are not limited to the following:
• Collection of forms or admin documents
• Coordinating with the class/student leaders
• Looking after classes in the absence of the main teacher through executing the instructions that are given by the main teacher and providing and maintaining an atmosphere conducive to learning
• Collation and checking of forms
• Assist teachers in coordinating with external agencies for student programs
2. Provide other administrative / logistics support to the school’s academic staff
3. Daily update of students’ attendance and students’ particulars in MOE’s School Cockpit, if required
4. Co-ordinate and assist in services required by academic staff and students
5. Assist in administrative matters in other education support departments, including front office/reception work when required and deployed
6. Provide covering duties for the Teacher Support Desk when required
7. Any other duties assigned by the school
Job Requirements
• Minimum 'O' levels or its equivalent
• Must be comfortable with managing students in a classroom set up, and enjoys working with youth
• Willing to learn and adapt to changes
• Able to start work at 7am
• Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Meticulous and systematic with good organisational skills
• Able to commit for at least 3 months
