Site Support Engineer - TL

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver superior End User Experience while ensuring a managed, secure End User environment
• Support various LOB users through direct end user support or through projects that deliver changes to the end user environment
• Assist Service Delivery Team in keeping desktops in compliance with Bank standards Work with LOB to identify and proactively manage applications to ensure a well maintained and managed end user environment
• Handle end-to-end Desktop refresh and replacement initiative and timely removal of Not Permitted Technology
• Handle user questions, incidents and requests. Tracking, measuring, and escalating as appropriate
• Adhere to industry and corporate standards and best practices while maintaining a high level of efficiency
• Assist with patching and upgrading end user devices
• Address quality and schedule conflicts
• Availability for ad-hoc work after hours and on weekends where necessary
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast moving environment

Job Requirements:

• At least 5 years’ experience in all phases of desktop operating system support, implementation, and maintenance, preferably in the financial sector
• Knowledge/Experience in Asset Disposal Processes
• At least 3 years’ experience on trading floor experience with Bloomberg, Reuters & trading platforms
• Knowledge of desktop operating system and infrastructure required to implement and support enterprise deployments
• Knowledge of Desktop Services security and access standards and practices
• Basic understating of networking and server technologies
• Proficient in supporting a Windows 10 desktop environment & Microsoft suit of applications
• Good communication skills and strong analytical skills

This role sits within a is a global, multi-discipline team responsible for architecting and delivering secure, robust, and innovative solutions which would enable the development teams to build and deploy new applications as well as migrate selected existing applications into the public cloud.

The team works with multiple public cloud providers and are presently looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer familiar with various cloud concepts, services, and tools, preferably from multiple public cloud providers but primarily in the Cloud Identity and Access Management (CIAM) space. The candidate will be involved in multiple aspects of the team’s work, including evaluation of new cloud products and services, and integrating them into standard client cloud solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Providing IAM solutions for migrating existing or integrating new applications in the Client environment across multiple Cloud providers including but not limited to Azure and AWS
• Provide IAM services for complex, multi-tier applications that are migrating to Cloud Platforms
• Selecting appropriate IAM Cloud controls for migrating applications based on given requirements
• Working in a globally distributed team to provide innovative and robust Cloud centric solutions
• Closely working with Vendors to develop and deploy Cloud services to meet customer expectations
• Integrate, configure, document, and deploy compliant infrastructure and supporting services in the Cloud platform
• Design, Optimization and Document the Operational aspects of the Cloud platform
• Troubleshooting problems, resolving root cause, and where possible, fixing the bug(s)
• Collaborate with Risk Management to ensure necessary controls to Cloud services are deployed and tested

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of Azure AD and related services such as Conditional access, Identity protection, Privileged identity management, etc.
• Strong knowledge of authentication with SAML, OAuth, OpenID, and Kerberos
• Experience in providing Federated Identity with solutions such as PING Federate or ADFS
• Knowledge of the Zero Trust Architecture principles
• Prior experience in providing RBAC solutions for AWS and Azure
• Experience creating technical architecture documentation
• Strong communication and written skills
• Strong scripting and automation abilities including PowerShell and/or Python

Skills Desired:

• Prior experience in the Identity space with a background in Active Directory or similar LDAP stores
• Working knowledge of Azure Active Directory Connect synchronization software or similar technology
• Prior experience using compliance assurance tooling such as Prisma Cloud
• Prior experience with products from HashiCorp such as Terraform, Vault and Consul
• Prior experience with risk control frameworks and engagements with risk and regulatory functions
• Knowledge and experience of working with CI/CD frameworks and methodologies such as automated testing (unit / integration) and release pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Experience in the financial industry

Resource Qualifications

The resources will have the below qualifications:

• Required skills include 3+ years of experience in the implementation, maintenance and analysis of data center facilities, hardware, communications infrastructure, strategies, tools and effective troubleshooting techniques.
• Basic background on enterprise data center facilities and infrastructure environments such as PDUs, RPPs, network and SAN infrastructures. In depth knowledge on complex, Enterprise class inter-networked environments involving a combination of switched/routed/shared Ethernet, TwinAx (100GigE, 25GigE,10GigE, GigE, 100M, and 10M), token ring, SAN, and wide area connectivity.
• Strong knowledge of WAN technologies (OC-x, DS-x), subnetting and TCP/IP protocol a must.
• Excellent communication and writing skills a must.
• Knowledge of trouble ticketing systems, change control, Project processes and associated tools.
• Logical problem - solving techniques and associated experience in system, data center facilities, and telecommunications.
• Experience with project management.
• Financial Services industry knowledge a plus.

1. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The DCSD Infrastructure Technical Analyst roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Installing/de-installing/relocating all distributed systems and network hardware (CSUs, DSUs, routers, switches, encryptors, firewalls, etc.) in the Singapore Data Centers within the internal service level mandates
• Installing/de-installing /extending/relocating/testing all carrier circuits to the network hardware
• Installing/de-installing/relocating all patch cabling for systems and network hardware
• Installing/de-installing/relocating all Data Center hardware
• Assist with the coordination of cabinet power, circuit, and patch infrastructure installations w/various facilities, electrical and communications vendors
• Assist with the coordination of network component configurations
• Coordinate and Install SAN cabling infrastructure
• Managing network ports and assist with the management of all consumable items (cables, labels, tie wraps, rail kits, etc.)
• Maintaining the integrity of the data center facilities, systems and communications environments through general housekeeping and best operations practices
• Provide hands-on, break/fix level 2 support for the data center systems and communications environments
• Coordinating and approving data center infrastructure change controls
• Ensuring compliance with data center standards, policies and processes for all non-DCSD sponsored changes
• Performing required compliance activities
• Producing network consumables updates and contributing to weekly management reports
• Coordinate activities in support of all projects and technical requests within the Americas Data Centers
• Manage CTI-approved third-party vendors in support of local/regional business service commitments and to assure adherence to Corporate and CTI standards
• Provide clear and detailed turnover to next shift workers for continuity
• Media Management duties including the following:
• Performing daily tape ejects to increase current day processing capacity.
• Monitoring of tape related console messages.
• Managing all daily ad-hoc tape/job requests and scratch activity.
• Managing all physical and electronic vaulting activity.
• Manage tape destruction process, ensuring all proper documentation has been recorded and approved.
• Monitoring scratch levels on display screens, on-line library web specialist or visually monitoring panel on libraries.
• Replacing any/all damaged media.
• Minor to moderate problem determination
• Monitoring of tape related console messages, working with the global command center and the on-site hardware teams.
• Performing daily health checks on all libraries including virtual subsystems, grid clusters, and error/exception system logs.
• Provide assistance when required to ensure that the highest level of customer satisfaction is maintained.
• Responding to automated trouble tickets and facilitating the necessary actions under the direction of the Global Command centers.
• Media liaison between the on-site hardware teams and the on-site CE’s.
• Initiating, scheduling, coordinating, and approving media management sponsored change controls.
• Supporting all physical off-site vaulting activities.
• Managing all physical media movement and ensuring all movement is recorded and tracked accordingly.
• Manage tape destruction process, ensuring all proper documentation has been recorded and approved.
• Ensure destruction procedures are followed.
• Supporting all site and application specific disaster recovery/COB tests/exercises.
• Responsible in following best practices and processes in degaussing and wiping of all hard drives.
• Performs random audit checks and sampling.
• Remain current with all global procedures and provide input when appropriate
• Participates in projects relating to tape/media
• Assisting in supporting all reconciliation and QA efforts including: Year End, Physical Inventory, Vertices. Hard-drive inventory levels, Other duties as assigned by management.
