Position Summary
The Sales Development Representative is the very first contact that customers and partners have at NICE. You will have the opportunity to interact with lots of different people and businesses, and you will have the opportunity to create an incredible first impression for Nice’s customer over the phone, on chat on our website and over email and social channels. The purpose of this position is to generate new sales qualified leads for our Corporate and Enterprise sales teams, provide an immediate response to all inbound enquiries and proactively target customers with outbound calls, emails and social outreach, who would benefit from Nice’s services. You will work very closely with our Marketing, Channel and Sales teams to continually generate new target accounts and prospect into them using multiple difference techniques to ensure success. Primary Purpose
The Partner Acceleration Executive (PAE) is responsible for implementing a cohesive business development strategy to drive profitable growth through our partner ecosystem. The right candidate will drive sales opportunities, marketing campaigns, and complex strategic initiatives that further develop existing NICE partnerships.
The PAE will work closely with cross-functional leadership teams to execute on corporate strategy for new growth. This role will drive expansion with partners by leveraging expertise and knowledge of cloud service provider platforms, (hyper- scalers), cloud and digital transformation, CRM platforms, digital channels, knowledge, RPA and automation, and self-service. The PAE is also responsible for maintaining and progressing long-term relationships at all levels throughout each of our partners. About the role:
We are seeking a talented, energetic lawyer with excellent communication skills to be based in Singapore. The Senior Legal Counsel will provide a range of legal services for our APAC business and operations, with an important focus on commercial transactions. This will be a key role for the Legal team in NICE’s International region, which comprises Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and Africa (International region). There will be an opportunity to work on matters across the International region. The Senior Legal Counsel will be part of NICE’s global Legal department, and will report to the General Counsel, International.
Requirements:
• Proven success within leading multinational technology companies in a similar role, including substantial experience in cloud services, software and services.
• Commercial legal business partner with a proven track record of results with extensive experience negotiating customer and partner transactions in the technology sector across a variety of markets in the APAC region (including US GAAP revenue recognition experience).
• Substantial experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
• Solid IP and data privacy experience.
• Holding the highest degree of professional ethics and integrity.
• Solution-focused with excellent judgement and analytical skills.
• First class interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to anticipate legal issues or risks.
• A minimum of 6 to 8 years’ PQE, with directly relevant experience gained from working in leading law firms and multinational technology companies.
• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) / Master of Laws (LLM) from an internationally recognized university.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Legal Counsel’s responsibilities will include, without limitation, the following:
APAC / International counsel
• Strategic partner for the provision of legal services across the APAC region with an in-depth understanding of NICE’s different business segments and products / solutions.
• Act as a trusted and valued advisor to team members across the APAC region, with significant experience in local laws, local culture and ways of doing business in these markets.
• Opportunity to work on EMEA legal matters.
• Partner with other members of the global Legal team to share best practices and work on global initiatives and other projects.
Commercial
• Understand the business priorities and products / solutions, and be central to business discussions.
• Prepare, review and negotiate customer and partner agreements across all areas of the company’s business, with an understanding of the different products / solutions and company requirements. This will include the drafting and negotiation of direct agreements with corporate and government customers, and partner agreements. Experience with different partner / channel models and programs in the technology sector is preferred.
• Experience with data privacy laws in the International Region.
• Prepare, review and negotiate other commercial agreements (e.g., subcontractors, vendors, etc.).
• Develop strong working partnerships with other key stakeholders across the business (e.g., sales, solutions, partners, finance, business operations, marketing and security).
• Deliver training to enhance sales enablement.
Risk Management and Compliance
• Implement the commercial contract approval matrix.
• Work with the General Counsel, International and Director, Compliance to ensure compliance (including enforcement of the Code of Ethics, global anti-bribery and corruption laws, global export laws and trade sanctions, etc.).
• Advising on data privacy, information security and cyber-security laws.
Corporate
• Assist with corporate work related to legal entities.
• Support Corporate Legal, Finance and Tax departments in the execution and submission of required legal corporate documents for compliance purposes.
