This role involves supporting the daily operations of the bookstore, overseen by the Associate Manager - Operations. As the bookstore operates at a high volume within the College, responsibilities include managing e-commerce orders and leading customer communications. Additionally, the position involves handling incoming merchandise, managing invoices, and supporting the rental program by overseeing rental renewals, maintaining bookshelves, setting up rental systems, and managing the disposal of old rental materials.

Minimum Qualifications:

4. Participate in instructional and curriculum articulation activities with other programs and other divisions of instruction.

Organizational Function and Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for instruction in Physics program at the college level. This includes developing a relevant and progressive curriculum, designing and implementing effective learning strategies and environments, delivering instruction of high quality, assessing student learning, advising students, and participating in college service activities at the department, division and college levels.
This position reports to the Associate Dean - School of Engineering, Science and Mathematics.
Essential Duties:

1. Responsible for facilitating student learning in Physics program, including but not limited to the following courses: Physics.

1. Plan, develop, and implement appropriate instructional strategies, including alternative delivery strategies when appropriate.
2. Assist and advise students who have problems with assignments, tests, grades, course content, career concerns, and other academic matters.
3. Research, develop, and administer skills assessments before, during and after courses and services with an emphasis on evaluating student performance in courses taught by the instructor.
4. Participate in instructional and curriculum articulation activities with other programs and other divisions of instruction.
5. Comply with college policies and directions regarding student testing record keeping, advanced standing, providing grades on a timely basis, maintaining office hours for student assistance and counseling, etc.
6. Work closely with the College’s Business and Industry Services division to support the training needs of business partners and/or clients.
7. Maintain competencies as an instructor as aligned with the Faculty Quality Assurance System.
8. Comply with all aspects of Board policies, work rules, and the appropriate collective bargaining agreement.
9. Attend division, department and advisory committee meetings.
10. Develop and implement strategies aimed at the retention of students of color, female students, English Language Learners (ELL), and students with disabilities.
11. Participate in appropriate staff development activities such as diversity awareness, technology training, etc.
12. Demonstrate a commitment to the college’s mission, vision and values.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

7. Ability to effectively interact with business and industry to establish partnerships and address needs. Willingness to travel to company locations for collaborative meetings and/or training.
Qualifications:
1. Technical Diploma with the ability to obtain as Associate's degree or a Journeyworker certification within 3 years in a related field.
2. Five (5) years or 10,000 hours of related work experience.
• One (1) year (2,000 hours) of related work experience must be within the past five (5) years.
• Two (2) years of full-time equivalent teaching experience in a related area at an accredited college within the past five (5) years may be substituted for the one (1) year of related work experience within the past five (5) years.
OR
1. Seven (7) years or 14,000 hours of related work experience.
• One (1) year (2,000 hours) of related work experience must be within the past five (5) years.
• Two (2) years of full-time equivalent teaching experience in a related area at an accredited college within the past five (5) years may be substituted for the one (1) year of related work experience within the past five (5) years.
2. Expectation to obtain a Technical diploma, Journeyworker certification, and/or Associate's degree within three (3) years of employment (unless waived).

Organizational Function and Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for instruction in the Cosmetology program at the college level. This includes developing a relevant and progressive curriculum, designing and implementing effective learning strategies and environments, delivering instruction of high quality, assessing student learning, advising students, and participating in college service activities at the department, division and college levels.
This position reports to the Associate Dean – School of Business and Applied Arts.
Essential Duties:
The following duties are typically expected of this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
1. Responsible for instruction in the Cosmetology program including but not limited to the following courses: Cosmetology Theory 1 – 5, Cosmetology Techniques 1 – 3, Cosmetology Sales & Advertising 1 & 2, and Cosmetology Apprenticeship courses, as needed.
2. Develop and plan appropriate instructional strategies and alternative delivery strategies when appropriate including but not limited to hybrid, face-to-face and on-line course delivery.
3. Participate in in-service meetings, staff development training or other activities or programs requested by the Department.
4. Assist and advise students who have problems with assignments, tests, grades, course content, career concerns, and other academic matters.
