Responsibilities

· Handles site administration works e.g. raise Purchase Requisitions, filing of DOs & ISO documents, data entry, manage all site office equipment, carry out simple IT setups, prepare minutes of meeting/progress reports/daily reports.

· Assist Project Manager in all other administration functions as may be required.

Liaise with Head Office regularly on site staff and workers' attendance, leave forms, overtime claims, petty cash claims etc

Requirements

· Knowledge in Microsoft Office applications

· Good organization and multi-tasking skills

· Min. GCE ‘O’Level qualification

- Assist with the preparation of a construction health and safety plan

- Confirm necessary documentation was submitted to the relevant authorities

- Assessments and approval of contractor(s) health and safety plans

- Facilitate site health and safety meetings

- Identification of the hazards and risks relevant to the construction project through regular coordinated site inspections

- Establish and maintain health and safety communication structures and systems, distribution of health and safety specific documents to sub-contractors

- Compiling project specific emergency response and preparedness plans

- Testing the effectiveness of the emergency response plans

- Conduct site safety inductions

- Evaluate the levels of compliance of subcontractors to the project specific health and safety plan and client specifications through inspections and audits

- Oversee the reporting and investigation of project related incident

- Participation in management reviews of the health and safety system

- Review and update the health and safety plan

Roles & Responsibilities

- Report directly to the Project Manager

- Liaise with RTO with regards to site inspection and casting

- Arranging proper work sequence on site

- Coordination with sub-contractors with regards to the site issues and checking their works base on drawing

- Co ordination for PPVC modules for M & E provision

- Visiting Precast yard to ensure all provision are in order

- Preparing schedule of works for the sub-contractors

- Monitoring the site progress base on the schedule

- Attending technical meetings with consultants

- Attending fit out yard inspection and resolving site issues

- Inspect of construction site to ensure all facilities and equipment are relevant to the maintaining of environment

- Inspect and monitor disease bearing insects and proper disposal of construction waste

- Conduct EHS committee meeting and implementation of safe work place and safe work procedures

- Conducting daily site environmental inspection checklist and records

Responsibilities:

• Managing the planning stage of construction projects.
• Contributing technical expertise to project drawings.
• Preparing work schedules in collaboration with the project manager.
• Liaising between contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
• Overseeing construction engineering processes.
• Performing regular tests on materials and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Ensuring that the construction project is completed on time and within budget.
• Documenting processes and keeping detailed construction logs.
• Presenting construction project progress updates to clients and senior managers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, civil engineering technology, or similar.
• At least 5 years experience as a construction engineer in the relevant field of specialization.
• Advance proficiency in construction management software
• In-depth knowledge of construction industry regulations.
• Exceptional leadership, project management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
