We are currently seeking a Non Destructive Testing (NDT) Operator to join our high performing team located at our Melbourne Engineering Precinct, the main maintenance hub of our network.

The Jetstar Engineering Team are at the forefront of delivering our superior safety standards. They are responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of our fleet of aircraft, including completing all required maintenance that must be carried out, on time and to approved standards to ensure they take to the skies safely.

Our team also has the opportunity to work not only on Jetstar fleet, but customer aircraft – A320/21, A330, B717, B737 and A321 Freighter.
The Opportunity
This role has ownership of performing, reporting and certifying NDT inspections on aircraft, engines and components using various NDT methods, in accordance with approved Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA), Jetstar Airways Part 145 Approved Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE), Jetstar NDT Written Practice, Jetstar Safety Management System (SMS), Maintenance Control & Procedures Manual, Company Policies and Civil Aviation Safety Authority regulatory requirements.

The Opportunity
We now have an opportunity available for a Duty Technical Manager (DTM) to join the Maintenance Watch team. The Opportunity
As the Technical Specialist (Structures), your core responsibility will be to manage Jetstar’s A320/1 Fleet Structures during C Checks, Operational AOG’s and Hangar visits, for scheduled work packs, ad-hoc work packs and defect rectification.
The primary function of the Technical Specialist role is to support the Duty Technical Manager in providing technical support to the AMO’s, monitoring and managing aircraft fleet health, providing a single point of contact to Maintenance Planning and Technical Service for ongoing campaigns & modifications and assisting in the recovery of disruptions during day of operations.

As a Cabin Baggage Officer (CBO), you will be responsible for:
