Application Engineer – Controls Pre-sales

What you will do

The primary responsibility for this role is to support pre-sales engineering for Building Automation System global projects as per country specific standards. Handling daily routine activities related to presales estimation support by preparing technical assessments. Basic knowledge about bill of material preparation, cost estimation to come up with competitive bid. Follow processes, maintain required quality standards and on time deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction.

How you will do it

• Review project inputs and specifications; should be able to capture the scope and understand the complete requirements of the project.
• Review MEP drawings, specification, SOP and identify HAVC equipment, dampers and sensors.
• Preparation and participation for project kick-off / review meetings with technical queries, compliance / deviations log, risk logs and record minutes of meeting.
• Adherence to standard estimation process and guideline to select proper combination of hardware, software, equipment, materials and services to come up with the optimum budget.

The Order to Cash (OTC) department`s responsibility covers all end-to-end OTC business management. The order-to-cash team is responsible for efficiently managing the entire process from Customer Master data to order placement to cash collection. What you will do

In this role, you will be part of Post Sales Design Support on BMS, CCTV, ACS & Fire Alarm System

How you will do it

• Review Technical specification of the projects to understand the project requirements.
• Preparation of technical submittal & Shop drawing for customer approval and execution.
• Preparation of schematics, P&ID, isometrics layout Knowledge in preparing hydraulic calculation, SOP, DDC schedule e.tc.
• Ensure execution of the projects with zero customer complaints
• Technical competency of below listed systems
  • Fire alarm, Security systems like CCTV, ACS & Physical security, Intruder alarm system. BMS for GA & Shop drawings.
  • Gaseous system (FM-200, CO2 & Inert gas) 
• Co-ordination with the Architects, Clients and Contractors at various stages of the project
• Demonstrate adherence to operational process requirements to drive efficiency

What we look for

• BE Electrical & Electronics or Equivalent.
• Experience on IBMS, GSS & FDS
• 3 to 10 years of hands-on experience in FAS, PA, Security, BMS & GSS Installation and End to end project commissioning experience. Working experience in product testing domains

• Should have global customer facing experience min 4-8 years.
• Maintain high quality, on time delivery and handle customer communication efficiently.
• Should act as interface to customers and is responsible to ensure that projects / tasks are executed within agreed schedule and budget to meet the customer technical specification requirements.
• Coordinate with Client and its teams to drive resolution to assigned task.
• Coordinate with security integrators to resolve hardware failures and ensure that all testing and validation is completed prior to integrator departure.
• Support team initiatives to upgrade or patch security hardware and software infrastructure.
• Support continual process improvement by executing and validating existing documentation.
• Perform periodic audits of security systems/ devices/ cameras to ensure they are

fully functional for desired health performance.

• Ability to multitask while balancing shifting priorities.
• Ability to travel on site location as per requirement

Preferred

• CCURE, LenelS2, Exacqvision & Genetec software work experience.
• Managing physical security technology or 2-4 years of supporting IT infrastructure in

corporate environments.

• Experience supporting Enterprise Access Control – LenelS2 (Software House), Video and Access Management (GENETEC), Visitor Management and Incident management systems. Experience.
• Understanding of security hardware including but not limited to door controllers, readers, electrified locking hardware, dual factor authentication, cameras, video recording hardware, intrusion detection systems, duress hardware.
• Ability to communicate actual information and ideas in English, clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, often under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Understanding of basic networking concepts and knowledge of Windows-based network
• Ability to think critically, assess and investigate systems issues to understand the

underlying cause and work with team to document, validate and execute programmatic
