What will I be doing?

Project Management

• Provide technical services and guide all elements of the planning and design phase of the project.

A Director, Benefits & Rewards Projects - Asia Pacific will primarily be responsible for shaping the Benefits culture for Corporate Offices and Properties in APAC through delivering Benefits expertise leadership, and support.

You will lead the benefits design or review projects for all Corporate benefits on an end-to-end basis, and shape benefits practices for properties on a scalable basis through toolkits, templates, benefits fundamentals workshops, and other creative approaches.

This role is held accountable for developing the APAC Benefits Strategy and Priorities, in alignment with global benefits principles and strategy, and driving successful implementation of the strategy and priorities through project leadership and strong collaboration with HR Ops leaders and all other key stakeholders. The primary focus is on benefits deliverables and will encompass other non-benefit aspects of Rewards including but not limited to rewards communication, analytics, and other projects as assigned by the Head of Compensation & Benefits APAC.

Benefits Design & Reviews

• Work with the Head of Compensation & Benefits APAC to develop APAC Benefits Strategy and benefits principles & standards that are fit for business and relevant to Team Members (TMs). This will include consultation with relevant global stakeholders to ensure that all proposed principles and standards are aligned with global standards and policies and Hilton values.
• Provide benefits expertise leadership, guidance & support to regional benefits projects or benefits projects of key properties in APAC.
• Responsible for end-to-end benefits projects management for all Corporate Benefits reviews and assigned benefits projects of key properties/markets.
• Main contact for all global benefits-related projects or policy actions. Collaborate with/support global benefits team members as required.

APAC Benefits Policy Advice and Administration

• Provide advice on questions or issues related to Area benefits policies. Work with relevant stakeholders to develop solutions for benefits-related issues.
• Ensure efficiency in the admin processes/operations of area/global benefits policies or programs.
• Responsible for developing benefits budget guidelines for key policies/programs to corporate offices and properties.

APAC Benefits Inventory

• Lead the initiative to evaluate the need and use of 3rd party vendor/consultant in the project to set up a comprehensive benefits inventory for all Corporate Offices and Properties in APAC. This includes project management and required technology to house the benefits inventory.
• Work with relevant Regional HR leaders, property HR teams, and other relevant stakeholders to set up the APAC Benefits Inventory and develop ongoing and sustainable processes to maintain updates and accuracy of the data with optimal resource engagement.

Benefits Governance & Cost Structure

• Set up an APAC Benefits Governance Structure - develop and conduct regular reviews of an APAC RASCI and review/approval process for all benefits-related policies, programs, and decisions that are fit for business based on sound governance principles.
• Establish APAC/Regional insurance pooling arrangements for key insurance-based benefits based on a growing scale to achieve greater and ongoing cost-effectiveness.

Thrive@Hilton Team Lead

• Work with HR leaders to develop an ongoing and self-sustaining APAC strategy to embed Thrive@Hilton in everything we do for our TMs.
• Work closely with global Thrive owners/team to ensure global alignment of Thrive strategy, campaigns, and activities. Leverage Thrive champions and partner with other Corporate and Property resources to drive the successful implementation of the APAC Thrive strategy.
• Drive stronger collaboration and partnership with Communications in all relevant Thrive communications including marketing and promotion of Thrive campaigns/events.

Reward/Benefits Communications & Storytelling

• Work with the Head of Compensation & Benefits APAC and HR Leaders to establish capabilities/expertise around rewards communications (particularly in benefits-related areas) and high-impact storytelling in our corporate and property HR team. Leverage the Communications team and global expertise resources to build and sharpen these capabilities.

Rewards Projects

• Undertake any APAC benefits or compensation projects as the development of toolkits to deliver/build rewards expertise at the property level.
