JOB SUMMARY

This job provides Information Security and Risk Management services for the Organization. Works with peers within security, HM Health Solutions customers and application teams to ensure alignment with current and future security needs. Manages activities of various Information Security personnel. Makes decisions on personnel actions (promotions, hiring, terminations, etc.). Develops talent, addresses resource management, cultivates capabilities of staff, planning and coordination of work, and managing performance. Conducts the oversight of security technology products for network, systems, and data. Controls expenses within the operating unit and is responsible for meeting budget goals. Actively contributes to the Information Security ans Risk Management (ISRM) strategic planning process by working with the Directors to develop and implement department strategic plans and action steps that support the corporate strategic objectives. Actively involved in the coordination, implementation, problem solving, communication, and training of new technologies and processes, as they are developed and moved into the environment. Develops and presents Information Security awareness and training programs.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform management responsibilities including, but not limited to: involved in hiring and termination decisions; coaching and development; rewards and recognition; performance management and staff productivity.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the department; develop and implement policies and programs as necessary; may have budgetary responsibility and authority.
• Provide oversight of all aspects of project management to ensure continuous improvement of processes: negotiate and collaborate with leadership and staff to develop security solutions and options; develop and adhere to internal standards and strategies; ensure adherence to approved methodologies; coordinate resources, time, contingency plans and risk management.
• Provide leadership to the department: lead and champion organizational change; encourage participation in activities that support relationship development; champion information security innovation; encourage and enforce proper training in regards to security issues.
• Ensure compliance to Corporate and Information Security policies, standards and  procedures.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization: facilitate meetings; plan, design and provide presentations; represent HM Health Solutions with outside entities; prepare divisional procedures, policies, reports and correspondence;  spread awareness of new and existing security threats; provide oversight regarding metrics, funding, budgets and resources.

EDUCATION

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security, Information Systems,  Information Assurance, Computer Science or related field

Substitutions

EXPERIENCE

Required

• 7 - 10 years in Information Security and/or Information Risk Management and/or Information Technology

• 1 - 3 years in Staff Management

EXPERIENCE

Required

• 2 years of Leading the design, execution and dissemination of clinical and population health reporting, analyses and studies of progressive scope and complexity

• 1 year of Project leadership in a complex, matrixed environment (payer and/or provider preferred)
• 1 year of Providing analytical consultation to clinical, administrative, operational and financial stakeholders

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

This job provides direct care to patients and assists with non-direct patient care unit coordination. The incumbent in this position is expected to perform basic nursing procedures related to care and comfort of patients in stable condition, and have knowledge of patient population needs in the assigned work area. In addition, the incumbent is expected to assist the RN in the care of acutely ill patients. They is expected to practice medical asepsis, respect the dignity and privacy with every patient and family, and to maintain objectivity during patient care. They are expected to know and adhere to all basic hospital policies and procedures, and respond appropriately during emergency situations. They is expected to maintain the patient/family environment and perform general unit upkeep. They is expected to use accurate verbal and written communication, and to document patient care appropriately in the electronic medical record. The incumbent works under the general supervision of the Registered Nurse for patients in stable condition. Will work under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse in the care of the acutely ill and/or complex patient. The incumbent receives specific work assignments from the Charge Nurse and/or Care Team Leader which are both written & verbal and is expected to demonstrate evidence of efficient time management by completing the work within the scheduled time. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the incumbent is expected to perform a variety of duties related to the coordination of activities on the inpatient unit. This includes activities related to patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides, obtains or performs and documents direct patient care and activities such as: activities of daily living, skin survey, vital signs, ambulation, specimen collection, intake and output, meal consumption, height and weight, blood glucose testing/monitoring, point of care testing, bladder scanning, transporting of patients and their medical record, documentation of O2, early mobilization and ambulation protocols, assistance with exam, treatments and procedures. (30%)
• Participates in quality and patient satisfaction initiatives which may include bedside shift report, purposeful hourly rounding promoting safety such as falls prevention, hand washing, isolation protocols and maintaining a clean and orderly environment. (30%)
• Accurately documents vital signs, weights, I&O, restraints, specimen collection, and all other treatments. Report changes in patient's physical, mental and emotional conditions, as well as any issues or concerns identified to nursing staff. (20%)
• Participates in unit activity such as supply stocking and equipment/appliance cleaning, checks and retrieval. (20%)
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum

• High School Diploma or GED
• CPR Certification
• Limited or no experience: Must be able to attend 2 weeks of training
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions
• Ability to perform basic mathematics
• Basic computer skills

• Acute care experience with in the last 3 years
• Currently enrolled in ASN or BSN program. Preference given to those enrolled in Associates or Bachelor’s degree Nursing programs and completed at least one clinical rotation

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Completes the standardized cleaning process in patient rooms, offices, departments, and other ancillary areas utilizing the appropriate cleaning procedures.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs timely patient room cleaning and provides cleaning support to the various departments; cleans daily in all areas including discharge cleaning, patient room cleaning, cycle cleaning, office cleaning and all ancillary area cleaning to ensure the continuity and efficiency of patient care and daily operations. Cleaning of assigned building exteriors. Refilling of dispensers in all required areas and collection of all receptacles. (55%)
• Completes project work as assigned which may include, but not limited wall washing, trash removal, biohazardous linens and sharps container removal. Assists with Hospital emergency clean up. (10%)
• Actively participates in and accomplishes Patient Satisfaction initiatives to meet department goals. (10%)
• Adheres to all hospital safety standards in the use of chemicals, equipment and machinery and in clearly marking hazardous areas resulting from cleaning processes. (15%)
• Adheres to the policies, procedures, rules and regulations of the hospital as well as regulatory bodies. (10%)
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum

• FIT testing may be required, but provided upon hire as needed.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Basic reading, writing and effective communication skills.
• Ability to operate power equipment.

1. 2. Depending on level, may provide guidance and direction to divisional staff performing a variety of corporate supporting activities.  These include: Transportation, Receiving & Shipping, Internal Mail Processing, Express Package Shipping and Inventory Fulfillment and Receiving.  Also may function as back up for providing these services in absence of other staff.

3. May be accountable to process submitted employee directory changes using the corporation’s Human Resources application.  These changes feed other corporate directories and employee access security and electronic mail directories

JOB SUMMARY

***This is a hybrid position that would require you to be onsite up to 3 days a week at either our Camp Hill, PA or Pittsburgh, PA locations.

This job is responsible for managing the execution of a comprehensive internal audit  program for Highmark Health and its subsidiaries and affiliates.  This includes conducting audits and internal control assessments in a manner in which all relevant risks are assessed in an efficient manner to determine completeness, accuracy, validity, and restricted access and/or effectiveness of the control environment. The Internal Audit department is dedicated to providing objective assurance and consultation designed to add value and improve enterprise-wide operations and support compliance.  Internal Audit helps the organization to accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes by providing insight and recommendations based on analyses and assessments of data and business process.  The scope of audit and advisory engagements is broad, and includes the efficiency of operations, the reliability of financial reporting, deterring and investigating fraud, safeguarding assets, and compliance with laws and regulations, including but not limited to, control design and testing in support of compliance requirements.  Audit and advisory projects often address management requests and consultation to provide comfort over identified risks, new business processes, strategic initiatives and vendor reviews.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform management responsibilities to include, but are not limited to: involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity.  Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the department; develop and implement policies and programs as necessary; may have budgetary responsibility and authority.

• Audit & Advisory Engagement & Issue Management - Provide leadership role and collaborates with the Director and other members of the team, including business owners to plan and execute audit and advisory engagements in an efficient and effective manner. Through completion of engagements, demonstrates and applies a thorough understanding of complex financial and operational processes and/or complex information systems at the enterprise. Executes audits in accordance with standards defined by the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing.

• Audit & Advisory Engagement Planning - Interact and maintain productive business relationships with business leaders and individual contributors at all levels.  Collaborates  business partners and staff on solutions to support effective and efficient execution of audit and advisory engagements. Be a valued business partner worthy of providing feedback and consultation related to existing or emerging internal controls, compliance matters, and audit findings. 

• Manages and maintains a risk based Internal Audit & Advisory Services Plan which is  flexible, agile and connected to newly emerging risks changing business needs. This includes developing, deploying and communicating necessary staffing needs.

• Audit & Advisory Reporting and Monitoring - Accountable for managing and monitoring the completion of remediation efforts and manages timely follow-up audits as necessary.

• Partnership & Communication - Interacts and maintains productive business relationships with business leaders and individual contributors at all levels. effective and efficient execution of audit and advisory engagements.  

• Seeks out opportunities to create innovative, efficient and value added audit procedures through the use of tools supporting enhanced data analytics and robotic process automation.

• Ensures synergy with other Enterprise Risk and Governance Department efforts to facilitate appropriate communication, and leverage work performed where practical and possible.
