Roles & Responsibilities
Working location:
Work from home or anywhere in performing her/his duties. Willing to travel overseas.
Salary open to negotiation (Based on experience).
Description:
Review and analyse purchase requisitions.
Source most competitive price and suitable product.
To communicate with supplier on product availability and delivery.
Verifies purchase requisitions by project team; clarifying unclear items; recommending alternatives.
Check current stock on other project site; scheduling on time delivery.
Prepares purchase orders by verifying specifications and price; obtaining recommendations from suppliers for substitute items; obtaining approval from requisitioning department.
Verifies receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered.
Handle overseas shipment, prepare packing list to project team and ensure correct quantity received on site.
Process purchase requisitions, purchase change orders and requests for quotes from suppliers.
Responsible for procurement business system data input and integrity.
Keep information accessible by sorting and filing documents.
Provides purchasing planning and control information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
Interact closely with suppliers and Engineer to resolve quality issues.
Maintain good PO system and have periodic system update in terms of supplier, price, product etc
Travelling overseas is required at any time to facilitate communication with clients in China and European countries.
Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Company Management.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Operation Management or any Engineering related field.
2 years relevant working experience.
Ability to communicate in multiple languages (except English and Mandarin) to contact suppliers and customers in different countries.
Working experience in multiple countries (Excluding Singapore China and Malaysia).
Mature and able to work independently.
