Responsibilities
You will collaborate with program managers and business teams to gather test requirements, define test plans, design test cases and automated tests, implement scalable test automation solutions, and implement the tests to deliver a high-quality product
You will develop maintainable test automation frameworks, tools, and automated test suites in response to the growing feature set and customer requirements
Be an integrated part of an Agile IT development team, working interactively with QA Manager, software engineers, test engineers, and product managers from the beginning of the development cycle
You will work on continuous integration and continuous delivery while managing and maintaining CI and QA tools
You will manage QA coverage of the products—integration testing (APIs), and end-to-end testing
You will help develop a cloud strategy, design new cloud environments, and build architecture
Minimum Qualifications
At least 4 plus years of experience as a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer well versed in Automated testing
Experience with a variety of different testing techniques, such as UI Testing, Automated Testing (front end and backend), Test Driven Development Strategies and others
At least 4 years of experience with software QA tools such as Cypress, Selenium, etc.
Knowledge of coding using JavaScript or Typescript is required
At least 3 years of backend testing experience using REST Assured/Jest
Experience with AWS is highly preferable. The ability to support CI/CD tool integration throughout the development lifecycle is required

Autodesk's Desktop Virtualization Team within the Enterprise Systems and Experience IT organisation is seeking an Information Security Specialist to help safeguard our digital desktop computer systems. Reporting into our Cloud PC Manager, you'll work with the Autodesk Security Operations teams and help us implement security responses to threats, help implement monitoring tools to protect sensitive data and defend against cyber-attacks. We are looking for an enthusiastic Software QA Engineer to join our team to develop AutoCAD on mobile platforms. As part of our dynamic team, you'll use knowledge of end-user processes to plan, develop, execute, and maintain test strategies with the objective of early detection of defects that impact customers, in assigned features or products, bringing customer perspective into the software development process to ensure product goals are met, and ensuring our customers receive exceptional functionality and services. Responsibilities
Participate in Scrum ceremonies for requirement gathering, test planning, execution, and progress reporting
Develop comprehensive software test plans, focusing on UI, functionality, performance, and workflow cover both iOS and Android platform
Manually executes test design to find defects in features or products and prioritize defects
Receives defect reports from other sources (customers, product support, newsgroups, Applications Engineers) and confirms and tracks specific issues for use by development
Writes test cases based on real production work, and creates scripts for automation
Uphold high-quality standards for the products you work on
Support customers by addressing training issues and identifying defects
Partner with experienced engineers, absorbing best practices in software development
Minimum Qualifications
Background in Software Engineering / Computer Science, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or relevant domains
5+ years experience in Software QA, Design Institute, or relevant industries
Knowledge of approaches, tools, and techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving problems (analyzing alternatives, risks and benefits)
Details oriented and strong logical thinking skills
Eagerness for new challenges and expanding knowledge
Experience with CAD software, scripting or Auto LISP programming, C++/C# experience would be a big plus
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in application testing
Familiarity with Agile Software Development Processes and Product Development Life Cycle

Break down a large problem into smaller components and provide a clear solution for each piece.
Minimize the amount of work for sufficient solution to be implemented.
Develop industry specific documents and diagrams to outline architecture and relationships between subsystems and participates in review of those designs.
Research and analyze existing legacy architecture and software code to understand the code at both the low-level and higher architectural level for making enhancements or resolving defects and performance issues.
Investigate and, if necessary, prototype technologies and algorithms relating to the task.
Compare and evaluate the implementation, if done by downstream developers, against the design, including code reviews.
Being tech lead and collaborate with cross-functional team to imagine, design and create new functionalities.
Continually refine understanding with other engineers about high- and low-level technical details, product goals, and user needs.
Contribute to cost-benefit analysis by providing estimates for the features and determine feasibility of each feature.
Mentor and provide direction to less experienced software engineers regarding company development processes and product architecture, at senior levels.
Develop depth in at least one technical area, but breadth in numerous areas to be a greater asset to the team
Research external best practices and emerging technologies for possible incorporation into company products and methodologies.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related field. Master’s degree is desirable.
8 to 10 years working experience in software development. Successfully completed two or more commercial software development cycles
Sophisticated programming skills with C++, Swift/Objective-C on macOS/iOS platform, familiar with XCode and Cocoa frameworks.

Our efforts to bring AutoCAD to new platforms has been publicly recognized by some of the biggest tech companies in the world (e.g. Apple, Google, Microsoft) in their various keynote events and helps set the industry standard for how cross platform development is done.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Software QA Engineer to join our team to develop AutoCAD on macOS. As part of our dynamic team, you'll use knowledge of end-user processes to plan, develop, execute, and maintain test strategies with the objective of early detection of defects that impact customers, in assigned features or products, bringing customer perspective into the software development process to ensure product goals are met, and ensuring our customers receive exceptional functionality and services. Your involvement in presenting and demonstrating these functionalities to partners will be crucial to our project's success.
Responsibilities
Participate in Scrum ceremonies for requirement gathering, test planning, execution, and progress reporting
Develop comprehensive software test plans, focusing on UI, functionality, performance, and workflow
Manually executes test design to find defects in features or products and prioritize defects
Receives defect reports from other sources (customers, product support, newsgroups, Applications Engineers) and confirms and tracks specific issues for use by development
Writes test cases based on real production work, and creates scripts for automation
Uphold high-quality standards for the products you work on
Support customers by addressing training issues and identifying defects
Partner with experienced engineers, absorbing best practices in software development
Minimum Qualifications
Background in Software Engineering / Computer Science, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or relevant domains
3~5 years’ experience in Software QA, Design Institute, or relevant industries
Knowledge of approaches, tools, and techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving problems (analyzing alternatives, risks and benefits)
Eagerness for new challenges and expanding knowledge
Experience with CAD software, scripting or Auto LISP programming, C++/C# experience would be a big plus
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in application testing
Familiarity with Agile Software Development Processes and Product Development Life Cycle
Accuracy/Attention to Detail: Ability to process information with high levels of accuracy
Keen interest in new technologies and their timely adoption
Ability to learn large software systems quickly
Ability to work well in a team to deliver on team goals
Flexibility under changing conditions and ability to multi-task between projects
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Self-directed and require minimal supervision

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $79,500 and $116,600. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
