Qualifications:

• Academic bachelor’s degree in mechanical/Metallurgy/Marine Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 10-15 years’ experience, with at least 5 years in marine construction and installations.
• Certifications: AWS CWI/SCWI, ASNT/PCN Level II in Visual Examination (VT), Liquid Penetrant (PT), Magnetic Particles (MT), Radiography (RT), Ultrasound (UT), ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor.
• Familiarity with word/Excel/quality software systems.

Job Descriptions:

• Review technical specifications, drawings, procedures, and standards pertaining to project requirements.
• Prepare and review project quality documents, NDT plans and procedures, and ITP.
• Administer project internal quality audits to ensure compliance with the project quality plan.
• Monitor inspection and documentation activities of QA Inspectors to ensure compliance with inspection & test plans and project quality requirements.
• Liaise with Owner and class regarding quality-related issues, technical calibrations, and queries.
• Handle and resolve quality-related issues arising from subcontractors and in-house production.
• Check and ensure coverage of NDT as per NDT plan.
• Prepare and submit Manufacturer Data Books (MDB) to Owner and classification society.
• Review and monitor cutting plans, weld maps, material verification reports, inspection reports, NDT reports, weld traceability records, and final DC reports.
• Ensure material preservation, handling, and traceability.
• Review ITP, WPS, PQR, PWHT, and vendor documents.
• Review welding, NDT, and other equipment calibrations.
• Familiarity with codes & standards like ASME, API, ANSI, AWS, IACS, ABS, NR, etc.
• Assign systems to be tested to various supervisors and technicians involved in the operation.
• Review quality work processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Coordinate with all sections for inspection & testing requirements.
• Coordinate testing/commissioning requirements with Engineering, Project Manager, QA Department, and vendors.
• Report non-conformance and issue Improvement notes, where necessary.
• Ensure timely completion of projects.
• Ensure all standard operating procedures comply with specifications, quality standards, statutory, and regulatory requirements.

Process and engineering knowledge

Process safety

• Lead HAZOP Studies
• Updates Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and prepares documentation for Hazard Analysis & Participates in safety reviews in case of a new project
• Performs scenario calculations with tools available
• Follows up on process modifications to improve the HSE in the unit
• Participates or Leads process improvement group , in liaison with R&D
• Defines industrial tests and follows their progress
• For investment projects;specifies basic process data,equipment design (Process data sheet). Reviews /Comments PFD & PIDS, participates in the detailed studies and participates in the start up

Health,Safety,Environment,Quality and Management Systems

• Promote the company's EHSQ policy and other requirement.
• Report any incidents,accidents or near miss immediately to HSE department

Leadership

• Expected to tutor and train new comers ( Junior process engineer, production staff) in the area of expertise

TA Cost Controller

Contract: Able to understand procurement contracts, including pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and service level agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Inventory Management: Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to forecast TA expenses, inclusive of every late requets

Cost Optimization: Analyze procurement processes, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement measures to improve efficiency and reduce expenses.

MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

TA budget and Cost control:

· Preparing proposal of turnaround forecast including cost of individual task.

· Control purchase order opening and closing according to status of the project.

· Monitoring, updating, and analyzing turnaround cost, reporting on cost variances VS activities during actual shutdown period.

· Provide regular reports on turnaround cost status and cost deviations to TA Project manager and others as assigned by the PM.

SAP Utilization:

· Utilize SAP or other relevant procurement systems to manage procurement activities, track orders, monitor vendor performance, and generate reports.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

· Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, such as production, quality control, and finance teams, to ensure seamless procurement processes and support overall business objectives.

· Strictly follow procedures to ensure reliable, efficient and transparent cost management

· Ensure excellent communication internally and externally to suppliers, Contractors, HSE team, Technical team, the production team and the team of diversity.

· Extracting KPI data for analysis, compile and refine monthly reports for TA department.

· Support TA purchasing on demand.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

· ensure leadership role to develop and establish TA cost control department as a single point contact to meet KPI of the major Turnaround.

· Ensure adequacy of work planning documentations prepared and timely tracked their generation / preparation progress.

· Gatekeeper of late work request process. Ensure proper work acceptance & closure recorded for effective overall TA closure.

· To perform any other tasks assigned by Immediate Superior/ Management from time to time.
