La mission principale est :
Faisant partie de l’équipe A220 Value Stream Industrial, le titulaire du poste sera reconnue comme la référence en matière d’architecture industrielle. Il sera appelé à gérer plusieurs projets/initiatives visant à:
assurer une industrialisation réussie de cet avion dérivé grâce à un leadership et une coordination solide,
assurer l'alignement entre les fonctions industrielles d'Airbus et les fournisseurs
gérer les revues industrielles relatives à ce dérivé
analyser et optimiser le système Industriels dans la chaîne de valeur afin d'éliminer les perturbations et les coûts liés à la non-qualité.
fournir une expertise industrielle dans les équipes multi-fonctionnelles (MFT), incluant la participation aux appels d'offres (CFT) applicable à l'introduction de nouveaux produits (NPI), au transfert d’activités (ToW) et au double source
effectuer les résolutions de problèmes, analyse des causes racines et mise en place des mesures correctives
apporter un accompagnement et une expertise en conception et modélisation de systèmes industriels et performances associées.
effectuer les analyses de tolérances lorsque requis pour supporter les résolutions de problème
contribuer à la phase d'industrialisation, depuis la préparation d'une nouvelle installation industrielle jusqu'à la production en série d'un produit (fabrication d'une pièce, d'un équipement, d'un composant).
piloter les projets d'amélioration des processus, de diffusion de la technologie et d'innovation industrielle relatif à ce dérivé
En tant que titulaire du poste, vous travaillerez avec les fournisseurs de composants impliqués dans la mise à niveau de la configuration. Vous pilotez la montée en cadence, la performance et les livraisons ainsi que la gestion des projets industriels. Vous serez un Arcitect Industriel, Chaine de valeur A220
Tâches et responsabilités
Vous êtes l'interface Industriel entre les différentes fonctions de l’A220 pour l’ACJ two twenty et êtes la voix industrielle dans les différentes étapes du projets (MG- gates)
Vous suivez toute l’activité de développement du produit.
Vous initiez et pilotez les changements nécessaires pour optimiser le système industriel et l'implantation de la technologie
Vous définissez, négociez et intégrez les exigences manufacturières dans la conception du produit et créez le plan de vérification et de validation industrielles (V&V) comme base de référence pour la mise en place de l'ensemble de la solution du système industriel, en travaillant avec l'ingénierie et le programme en co-conception, en identifiant et en planifiant les moyens de conformité pour effectuer la vérification.
Vous mettez en place le plan industriel, évaluez les ressources requises, élaborez les budgets pour les fonctions de la VSM (Value stream Management), définissez les échéanciers de production, monitorez et contrôlez l’avancement du projet, gérez les risques et les opportunités industriels, implantez les plans de redressement.
Vous évaluez les performances industrielles liées au concept industriel et identifier les possibilités d'amélioration
Vous assurez l’harmonisation des méthodes et technologies standardisées pour toutes les parties prenantes liée au système industriel
Vous représentez la VSM dans les différentes équipes multifonctionnelles (MFT) et les revues de Programme
Vous initiez et recueillez l'évaluation de la capacité de montée en cadence de la production de la famille ACJ Two Twenty (analyse de l'état de préparation)
Vous gérez directement certains projets impliquant des modifications de conception ou une re-conception.
Vous êtes responsable de la gestion de plusieurs projets, y compris l’interdépendance des projets pendant le cycle de vie complet d'un programme/produit..
Vous participez aux différents board de gestion de configurations et agissez à titre de voix industrielle pour les changements impactant le nouveau produit comme l’ACJ et vous produisez les évaluations d’impact industriel

- Baccalauréat en Ingénierie ou équivalent
- Plus de 10 ans d'expérience dans le domaine de l'industrie/de la fabrication dont un minimum de 5 ans en développement de produit
- Bonne capacité de coordination et d'influence

- Expérience en gestion de projet et/ou en gestion de programme

Being part of A220 Value Stream Industrial organization, the jobholder will be the reference in Industrial System Architecture and will support many initiatives:
to ensure successful industrialisation of the derivative aircraft through strong leadership and coordination
to ensure alignment between Industrial Airbus functions and Supplier industrial functions.
to manage Industrial Review relative to the derivative aircraft
to analyze and optimize Manufacturing systems in the Value Chain to eliminate disruption and cost of non-quality packages.
to provide industrial expertise in multi-functional teams (MFTs) including participation in call For Tender (CFT) applicable to NPI (New Product introduction), ToW (Transfer of work) and Dual Source
to perform Problem Solving analyses, root cause analyses and corrective actions
to perform tolerancing stack-up analyses when require to support problem solving analyses
to contribute to the industrialization phase, commencing from the preparation of a new industrial set up to enable the series production of product (manufacture part, equipment, component).
to pilot process improvement projects, technology dissemination and industrial innovation technology initiatives related to the new product.
As the jobholder you will be working with component suppliers involved in the confuguration upgrade of the derivative, you will steer Ramp-up, Performance and Deliveries as well as managing Industrial Projects. You will be a Value Stream Industrial Architect for A220 Value Stream.
Tasks & accountabilities
You will be the A220 Industrial interface between all A220 functions for the ACJ two twenty and you will be the Industrial voice in all the Program review/Milestone review (MG-gate)
You follow all product development activities
You define and initiate all required changes to enable Industrial system and technology deployment.
You define, negotiate and integrate manufacturing requirements in the product design and create the Industrial Verifications & Validation plan as the baseline for setting up the entire industrial system solution, working with Engineering & Programmes in co-design, identifying and scheduling the means of compliance to conduct the verification
You set-up and execute the industrial plan: evaluate resources, costs, and budgets for the VSM perimeter; you define the production planning; you monitor and control the progress; you manage risks and opportunities, and implement recovery plans.
You assess the industrial performance linked to the industrial concept and identify the improvement opportunities
You ensure harmonization of standardized manufacturing processes and tools as well as technologies for al Industrial stakeholders
You are the voice of the VSM in differents multi-functionnal teams (MFT) and Program reviews
You Initiate and collect ACJ Two twenty family production ramp-up capability assessment (rate readiness analysis).
You are responsible for the management of multiple projects, including the interdependencies of projects during the complete life cycle of a program/product.
You participate at different Configuration Management Boards acting as the industrial voice for all changes impacting ACJ Two-Twenty and you evaluate the Industrial impact of the changes

Put in place a monitoring of the activities led at ICAO and related to the aerospace industry,
Maintain a close coordination with Airbus’ home countries permanent Representations at ICAO,

Vous serez le point focal des achats généraux pour les différents clients internes au Canada (Mirabel) pour la famille d’achats suivante = Technologies de l'Information. (produits et services)
Soutenir les organisations (ou équipes) des clients internes et des achats dans la création et la formulation de la stratégie d'achats en fournissant des données sur les fournisseurs.
Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les équipes achats et du département technologies de l'information en Europe, diriger les équipes multifonctionnelles locales afin de maximiser la visibilité sur la planification des besoins d’achats.
Gérer les relations avec les fournisseurs et travailler à l'identification et la mise en place de nouveaux fournisseurs.
Définir la planification des besoins d’achats et identifier les opportunités et objectifs des programmes d'économies.
Mener les appels d'offres. La valeur des projets varie, mais elle est généralement de l'ordre de 1 M USD par événement. La valeur des appels d'offres peut être supérieure à 1 M USD dans certains cas.
Rédiger, négocier et gérer les termes et conditions des contrats d'achats
Apporter son soutien et sa contribution à l'équipe dirigeante des Achats Généraux afin de fixer des objectifs réalistes et atteignables et contribuer à l'amélioration continue.
Résoudre les blocages éventuels et recommander des solutions aux problèmes opérationnels et contractuels.
Reporter les économies réalisées via les mécanismes de calculs et outils dédiés
Contribuer aux différents projets et initiatives transverses des Achats.

You will be the focal point for general purchasing for the various internal clients in Canada (Mirabel) for the following purchasing family = Information Technologies. (products and services)
Support internal customer and purchasing organizations (or teams) in creating and formulating purchasing strategy by providing supplier data.
Work closely with the purchasing and information technology department teams in Europe, leading local multifunctional teams to maximize visibility on planning purchasing needs.
Manage relationships with suppliers and work to identify and implement new suppliers.

Conduct calls for tenders. Project values vary, but are generally around $1M per event. The value of tenders may exceed USD 1 million in some cases.
Draft, negotiate and manage the terms and conditions of purchasing contracts
Provide support and contribution to the General Purchasing management team in order to set realistic and achievable objectives and contribute to continuous improvement.
Resolve potential blockages and recommend solutions to operational and contractual issues.
Report the savings made via calculation mechanisms and dedicated tools
Contribute to various cross-functional Purchasing projects and initiatives.

As Cabin Product Delivery and Development Program Manager you will Report directly to the A220 Cabin Program Product Delivery and Development director and you will be responsible to:
Define, develop and deploy cabin developments as well as cabin development and industrialization strategies.

Provide overall visibility of stock levels. Obtain & follow up action plans from suppliers to maintain optimal level

Dans vos fonctions, vous serez appelé à :
En tant que membre d'un groupe spécialisé au sein de l'équipe d'ingénierie, vous soutiendrez le programme de l'avion A220 en tant que spécialiste des matériaux et des procédés (M&P)
Fournir une expertise technique et un leadership dans la résolution des problèmes de conception, de certification et de conformité en interaction avec les autres départements, des fournisseurs, les opérations, la qualité, l'ingénierie en services, du support client et de la chaîne d'approvisionnement
Travailler au sein d'une équipe multifonctionnelle sur les opportunités de réduction des coûts, travailler sur les modifications structurelles et s'assurer que les conceptions répondent à toutes les exigences en matière de matériaux et de procédés.
Effectuer des analyses techniques et approuver les dessins techniques, les rapports techniques de fabrication, la qualification des pièces forgées, les rapports d'essai et les rapports de qualification.
S'assurer que les activités de conception respectent les réglementations environnementales ayant une incidence sur A220.
Fournir une visibilité claire à la direction de l'état et/ou des problèmes émergents liés aux activités soutenues.
Travailler en étroite collaboration avec l’ingénierie de liaison en fournissant une expertise/dispositions techniques M&P qui a trait à des problèmes de fabrication et d'assemblage ;
Collaborer avec l'équipe de spécialistes M&P Core (Airbus Commercial) hors site pour résoudre les principaux problèmes techniques ;
Échanger des informations et collaborer avec d'autres sites FAL (Mobile) pour assurer le partage des connaissances techniques ;
Documenter les dispositions sur les dossiers de travail M&P ;
En tant que candidat idéal,
Vous êtes titulaire d'un diplôme en génie des matériaux, en métallurgie ou en génie mécanique.
Vous avez un minimum de dix (10) ans d'expérience dans l'industrie aérospatiale directement liée à l'utilisation métallique dans les structures d'aéronefs. Une expérience antérieure avec la certification d'un nouvel avion est un atout.
Vous avez une connaissance approfondie des matériaux utilisés dans l'industrie aérospatiale, comprenez les mécanismes d'usure, de corrosion et êtes à l'aise avec les méthodes d'assemblage et de protection des matériaux aéronautiques
Vous avez une expérience pratique dans un ou plusieurs des domaines suivants :
Test des matériaux métalliques et établissement des tolérances.
Familiarité avec la qualification des pièces forgées, des extrusions, des pièces moulées et d'autres formes de matériaux
Bonne compréhension de la finition de surface du domaine aérospatiale, y compris le placage, l'anodisation et la finition organique.
Sélection, qualification et exigences d'installation des fixations du domaine de l’aviation Vous êtes à l'aise avec les normes de l'industrie aérospatiale telles que SAE ASTM et les spécifications OEM, l'exposition aux spécifications fédérales et militaires pourrait être un atout.

Vous avez fait preuve de solides compétences en leadership, en résolution de problèmes, en gestion de projet et en gestion du temps/des priorités dans vos affectations antérieures.
Vous avez d'excellentes compétences en communication (écrite et parlée) en anglais et avez une bonne compréhension du français.
Vous êtes capable de travailler dans un environnement d'équipe interfonctionnelle et d'interagir quotidiennement avec d'autres professionnels.

In your duties, you will be called upon to:
As a part of a specialized group within the engineering team you will be supporting the A220 aircraft program in the capacity of Materials and Process specialist.
Provide primary technical expertise and leadership in resolving Design, Certification, and Compliance issues interacting with the Suppliers, Operations, Quality, Service Engineering, Customer Support and Supply Chain departments
Work in a Multi-Functional Team on cost reduction opportunities, work on structural modifications and ensure that designs meet all material and processes requirements.
Perform technical reviews and approval of Engineering Drawings, Manufacturing Techniques Sheets, Forgings Qualification, Test Reports and Qualification Reports.
Ensure redesign activities meet environmental regulations impacting A220.
Provide clear visibility to management of the status and/or emerging issues related to the supported activities.
Work in close collaboration with Liaison Engineers by providing timely M&P technical expertise / dispositions to a variety of manufacturing and assembly issues;
Engage with the M&P Core specialists (Airbus Commercial) team offsite to resolve key technical issues;
Exchange information and collaborate with other FAL sites (Mobile) to ensure sharing of technical knowledge;
Document dispositions on M&P work files;
As the ideal candidate,
You hold a degree in materials engineering, metallurgy or mechanical engineering.
You have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Aerospace industry directly related to metallic use in Aircraft Structures. Previous experience with certification of a new aircraft is an asset.
You have an extended knowledge in the materials used in the aerospace industry, understand the mechanisms of wear, corrosion and are at ease with aerospace materials assembly and protection methods
You have hands-on experience with one or more of the following fields:
Metallic material testing and allowables establishment.
Familiarity with qualification of forgings, extrusions, castings and other material forms
Good understanding of aerospace surface finishing, including plating, anodizing, and organic finishing
Aerospace fasteners selection, qualification, and installation requirements
You are at ease with aerospace industry standards such as SAE ASTM, and OEM specifications, exposure to Federal and Military specifications could be an asset.
You have shown strong leadership, problem solving, project, and time/priority management skills in your past assignments.
You have excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in English and have good understanding of French.
You are able to work in a cross functional team environment and interact on a daily basis with other professionals and technicians.
You have a good working knowledge of computer software such as CATIA, Enovia, and Microsoft Office
You have Material Review Board (MRB) experience;
