The Role

The HR Officer will be assisting the Head of Human Resources to perform the full spectrum of HR functions, including payroll, to support the business growth. Key expectations are

· Handle operational HR matters and provide administrative support to the Human Resources Department.

Job Description

· Process twice monthly payroll.

· Ensure all work pass matters for foreign staff are obtained and complied with MOM regulations.

· Prepare all of HR related letters, forms and appraisals per the employee lifecycle.

· Manage employee relations and grievances.

· Handle training administration tasks such as preparation of training materials and collation of training feedbacks.

· Assist in the application of government grants and submission of claims.

· Conduct outlet staff Interviews, including interview schedule, feedback and recording.

· Report and review HQ employees leave

· Stand in for receptionist duties

· Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of HR files and Employee P-file/database.

· Work closely with Operations Department to ensure all HR documents are properly collated and submitted for processing.

· Assist in other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Head of Human Resources or the Assistant Manager, e.g staff celebrations, department meetings, company events.

Job Requirement

· At least 2 years’ relevant experience is required.
· Minimum diploma or equivalent.
· Knowledge of Singapore labour law, relevant government regulations and HR best practices

1. Plan and design the employee engagement strategy, and measurement tool by recommending employee engagement drivers that have high impact on driving workforce performance.
2. Plan and execute the communication and engagement sessions using appropriate channels/tools for the targeted audience for knowledge-sharing and capacity-building.
3. Develop communication material/information kits for the HR programmes/ activities to convey desired messages clearly and effectively to the targeted audience.
4. Design, conduct and analyse the organisation’s culture through the employee engagement surveys and recommend corrective or improvement actions.
5. Facilitate action planning discussions with stakeholders to identify corrective or improvement actions and resources to implement the action plans.
6. Oversee and facilitate the onboarding process for new staff to ensure the sharing of organisational and functional knowledge to familiarize them with the organisational culture.

Other Duties

1. Identify and submit relevant applications for national organisational awards.
2. Source and obtain national funding or any other available funding for staff development in line with national initiatives.
3. Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending HR learning and development policies.

• Degree in HR, Business Administration or equivalent.
