Provide technical assistance, and handle emergency breakdowns of building facilities and IT equipment.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspects work for completeness
• Determines material, equipment, and supplies to be used
• Coordinates inspect, repair and maintains the electrical, plumbing, mechanical, bar equipment, and IT networking system and server
• Maintains, and troubleshoots security system, analog camera, digital camera, monitor, switchers and DVR system
• Coordinates renovations of existing facilities and the construction of new facilities
• Coordinates and inspects major contract work on the electrical, plumbing, central air conditioning system and IT system
• Performs preventive maintenance on IT and building equipment
• Assists with the preparation and control of production budgets; maintains inventory and orders specialized supplies

RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to: -

• Plans and carries out regular preventive maintenance of facilities including aircon servicing, maintenance of kitchen equipment, kitchen exhaust, fridge maintenance, painting and cleaning of all facilities in the school and headquarters;
• Handles maintenance requests and update maintenance request records and monitor response time;
• Adheres to effective execution of safety and standard operating procedures and workplace safety and health (WSH) guidelines;
• Supervise contractors and vendor for any maintenance service but not limited to school and office renovation;
• Manages external vendors and contractors on-site maintenance works and their contracts in terms of work completion and thorough cleanliness;
• Ensures all maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with safety and environmental regulations;
• Liaise with various government authorities such as BCA, NEA, URA etc.
• Undertakes periodically with projects and works assigned from time to time
• Handles procurement of maintenance or minor renovation works relating to school’s facilities and headquarters buildings.
• Responsible for management of logistics, equipment and inventory related to programme delivery
• Undertake any other duties or responsibilities assigned
• Must be hands-on and possesses strong organisational and problem-solving skills

QUALIFICATIONS

• Possess Diploma in Building Services or Facilities Management
• At least 3 years of related work experience, preferably in school environment or similar;
• Self-driven and committed individual with excellent follow up;
• Results oriented and able to work under pressure
• Good interpersonal, communication skills and fluent in spoken and written English;
• Competent in Microsoft Office is compulsory
• 5 day work week

RESPONSIBILITIES

The job holder reports directly to both Principal and Senior Project and Facilities Manager. The location covers all schools within EtonHouse.

 

Job Role & Responsibilities

His duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to: -

• Performs regular preventive maintenance and corrective works on air conditioning system
• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, servicing, and installation of various types of air conditioner systems inclusive of carries out repair works such as replacement of air con compressor, fan coil motors etc.
• Perform diagnoses electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions
• Perform chemical washes and chemical overhauls.
• Keep a record of job schedules.
• Pick up and deliver required materials and supplies as and when required.
• Ensure all works are carried out safely with safety procedures
• Assist in house-keeping duties
• Any other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Air Conditioning, or any other related field
• Possess a class 3 driving license
• At least 2 years of working experience in the related field
• Installation skills is required
• Good communication skills, positive mindset, and strong willingness to learn
• Have good documentation practice
• Independent, resourceful, and able to perform under pressure with minimum supervision.
• Physically fit and able to carry heavy furniture
