As a Senior Medical Affairs Manager, you will be responsible to bring medical and technical expertise to the medical affairs team, relevant brand teams, and other internal business partners including regulatory, strategic development, and marketing.
Key Responsibilities
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities as follows:
- Support and enable GSK by engaging with healthcare professionals and public health decision makers, providing scientific information, managing projects, and ensuring compliance with standards and guidelines.
- Develop and implement Vaccines Medical Strategic Plan/s and Scientific Engagement activities to lead internal and external (customer facing) medical projects.
- Provide factual, balanced and scientifically rigorous medical and safety information regarding disease areas of mutual interest, GSK products in development and medical information on therapeutically assigned franchise/portfolio.
- Brings insight to the organization by having an in-depth knowledge of the science and evidence for GSK vaccines and other treatment options within their therapy area expertise.
- Provides expert vaccines medical support on all aspects of Marketing, Medical Information and Product Training for LOC’s Healthcare business as required.
- Assists in the development, organization, preparation, and implementation of training for internal and external audiences on disease knowledge and management.
- Identifies necessary local evidence generation activities and serves as the LOC lead of these scientific projects.
- Ascertain high standards of medical and scientific accuracy in all external communication to medical audience and public in keeping with GSK policy and relevant industry and regulatory codes.
- Engages with health-related agencies of the government to understand their needs regarding our products and to contribute to public health planning.
- Reinforces the external scientific image of GSK Pharma/Vaccines Healthcare to various MOH agencies and departments through representation and continuous educational efforts.

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Degree in Medicine, PharmD or PhD.
- Minimum 5 years’ experiences in medical affairs.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in medical project management.
- Clear understanding of clinical research methodologies and a demonstrated ability to translate scientific, clinical and safety research studies in an effective credible manner.
- Ability to maintain a command of a large amount of scientific information across multiple products and make a decision regarding clinical evidence of importance.
Preferred Qualifications:

- Ability to work autonomously and independently with time management skills to effectively manage field-based responsibilities.
- Strong interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills with different types of internal and external stakeholders.
