Roles & Responsibilities:
Organisation Development & Strategic Planning
- Support in organisation of agency's organisation development and strategic planning activities through:
- Document key discussion points and conclusions from agency's organisation development engagements, workplans, strategic planning meetings.
- Assist in analysis of organisation health data with guidance from supervisor.
- Translate documentation into infographics, presentations and handouts as required for communication to required stakeholders.
Corporate Secretariat support to Board and Senior Management
- Organise meetings and assist in consolidation of meeting agenda for the Board of Directors, required Committees of the Board staffed by Corporate Secretariat, and for Senior Management.
- Attend as required and support in taking meeting minutes.
- Support in the follow-up of Board governance matters as required/requested by the Board of Directors and Committees of the Board.
- Assist in arranging for orientation of new Board Committee Members as requested.
- Work with other departments to prepare secretariat documentation required.
- Support in the follow-up of Senior Management secretariat matters where required/requested.
- Assist with company projects or report submissions, as assigned by Reporting Officer.
- To undertake any other work responsibility as assigned by the CEO, Divisions Leadership and Reporting Officer.
Candidate Profile:
- A Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- At least 2 years of work experience preferred, either in organisation development and/or strategic planning for social service organisations.
- Language and writing: Excellent written and spoken English with good organisation of content floor.
- Excellent listening and comprehension skills to distil salient aspects of discussions.
- Use of technological resources Proficient in MS Office, PowerPoint and Excel, Adobe Acrobat Pro, infographic making applications such as Canva. Skills in other Office365 software a bonus. Able to use technological resources to aid/improve work efficiencies.
- Excellent Organisation and Project Management Skills Good ability in problem-solving skills, multi-tasking, time management, attentive to details.
- Resourceful Obtain and uses using relevant resources optimally to accomplish work targets cost-effectively and efficiently.
- Analytical mind able to cross reference multiple sources of data to make inference on patterns and potential next steps.
- Seeks clarifications and guidance, makes timely efforts to improve performance when feedback is given.
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
