Main Duties continued: You will work as part of the Hospital Operations Senior Leadership team (Hospital Operations Director, Deputy Directors for Hospital Operations and Assistant Director/s) to develop an ongoing program of work to address operational elements of the Transformation Directorate workplan. Together you will develop a learning culture in the team to enable iterative plan development to enhance the patient and staff experience in the New Hospital Programme. The post holder will deliver an efficient, effective, and high quality professional and well-co-ordinated operational service capable of meeting all statutory, regulatory and NHS requirements ensuring alignment with the activity of the organisation. The post holder should possess a track record of leading and resolving complex issues and implementing change in large organisations/systems including experience at senior operational level in and acute healthcare environment. You will lead specific pieces of programme work on the direction of the Deputy Director of Hospital Operations to deliver overall work plan objectives. Will be expected to critically analyse business cases and provide constructive with evaluation and lead on the development of the workstream strategy and strategically plan future programmes of work. As the New Hospital Programme is evolving, the precise nature of the role may need to change as the programme becomes established and agreed. The post holder will need to work flexibly across several delivery areas and locations. Salary Progression Applicants will commence at the bottom of Band 8d with a full-time starting salary of £83,571 with a pay step increase after 5 years service. For posts based in Inner London, the above salaries will include the additional supplement of 20% of basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £5,132 per annum and a maximum payment of £7,746 per annum. This is offered in accordance with NHS Terms and Conditions and is based on office location.
