Program Manager (Contract)

Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Program Manager to support manufacturing and supply chain operations within a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. This fully remote role is central to coordinating Monthly Readiness Review (MRR) processes, maintaining program data integrity, facilitating stakeholder communication, and driving operational readiness across multiple concurrent initiatives. The ideal candidate is extremely proactive, thrives without constant direction, and can immediately build relationships across unfamiliar teams while managing complex data and leadership-facing deliverables with precision and confidence.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage Monthly Readiness Review (MRR) tracking and reporting processes, ensuring data accuracy and completeness across all program entries
- Conduct daily outreach to program managers to collect, verify, and validate MRR data fields including ramp dates, build plans, test readiness, and risk posture
- Convert updated tracker data into polished PowerPoint slide decks for leadership review meetings, including formatting, quality assurance, and synthesis of complex tabular data
- Prepare meeting agendas, pre-reads, and calendar invites; ensure correct stakeholder attendance for weekly and bi-weekly MRR cadence meetings
- Facilitate MRR review meetings, capturing action items, decisions, and risk escalations in real time
- Distribute post-meeting notes, update action item trackers, assign owners and due dates, and follow up on overdue items
- Proactively flag blocked or at-risk programs to leadership for escalation
- Manage new program intake requests and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across engineering, operations, and leadership teams
- Analyze resource needs, program feasibility, and risk posture to support manufacturing and supply chain readiness
- Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to internal stakeholders and leadership
- Maintain large-scale program tracking tools (60MB+ trackers) with a high degree of data organization and accuracy
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing operations or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in engineering or supply chain roles
- 2–4 years of experience in program or project management
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder communication at multiple organizational levels
- Experience creating and maintaining program tracking tools and generating leadership-facing reporting materials
- PMP or PMI certification preferred but not required
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, supply chain, or a related field preferred
- Exceptional stakeholder coordination and relationship-building skills across engineering, operations, and leadership functions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a habit of proactive, overcommunication to keep stakeholders informed
- Proficiency in PowerPoint for synthesizing complex data into clear, leadership-ready presentations
- Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain large, complex data trackers with accuracy and consistency
- Confident and assertive in driving actions, requesting information, and moving work forward across organizations
- Strong meeting facilitation skills including agenda preparation, action item governance, and risk escalation
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify and resolve issues without constant direction
- Familiarity with collaboration and project management tools including Microsoft Teams and virtual desktop environments

- Pay Range*: $48.50 - $54.50 per hour
- Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
